Default He doesn’t even collect

I confronted this guy, said you didn’t leave any for anybody else did you, oh I resell on eBay he said, aggravates me to no end, he got real nervous and shaky, he was already at $500 with all that left, maybe the wrong forum to post this in

Is he buying that entire candy display too?

Maybe better suited for the basketball forum in hobby area.

It's easy money for those that find them. The market has created this. He doesn't have everybody else's interest in mind and he doesn't have to. He's done nothing wrong.

It sucks, but at the same time the only way to stop it is people stop buying from reselelrs and that just isn't going to happen.

This is part of the reason Target is not gonna sell cards anymore

Because they sell it as soon as they hit the shelves?

I'm guessing probably just the hassle of dealing with people waiting around until something is stocked

Isn’t the point of selling something that someone buys it?

Doubt Target or anyone cares as long as their product is purchased.

Also I find it far creepier to take a picture of someone and post it online of them doing something completely legal.

This was the first thread, the good thread (second) was posted in basketball and was deleted.

That doesn't mean you aren't taking crazy pills though.

Happens all the time in life. I have no problem with it because it brings enjoyment to many.

I have to applaud the guy for straight up telling you he resells on eBay. It doesn't tee me off like the guys using "opening with their kids" as an excuse for their entitlement.

I would have told you to kiss my ass right to your face and you would have done zero about it. Only a clown would get so mad to post this guy on a forum.

Get better at flipping and selling and maybe you wouldnt be so butthurt

I get that I'm likely in the minority here, but what did this guy in the picture do wrong? He grabbed available product and paid for it. Same thing that literally all of us would do and are doing when we're fortuitous enough to find said product stocked and unattended. While you may not like it, buyers are under no obligation to be card carryin' "collectors" or pass any sort of BS altruistic hobby oath in order to purchase product that's sitting on a shelf. They're also under no obligation to share any of it if they get it in their cart first.

Seems to me that the more toxic of the two is OP for being confrontational, taking a picture and blasting it all over a public forum because of his sour grapes. In my humble opinion, OP's behavior is a much worse symptom of the hobby than anything the guy in the picture did.

If I were to guess probably because OP was raising his voice at him and causing a scene. All while snapping pictures of him.

Dad: "Well son, looks like no cards for us to open because of this greed monger here."

Son: "I thought you said we were going to sell on eBay and buy a pool?"

Dad: "Shut up, Timmy. Go wait in the car with your mother."

He didn't do anything wrong, he had someone following him taking pictures.

This made me laugh.

I don't buy retail... hell I haven't bought a pack of cards since like 1997... so maybe I'm out of touch.

But I'm more concerned about how the OP behaves then I am about Ginger.
