Default BLOCK - 1st neutral ever on eBay from 0 feedback buyer

Hi all,

Warning you all to block eBay member kale_1535

They were sold a Jose Altuve 2011 Bowman Draft Paper RC on 7/28. The label was printed the next day and dropped in a post office box, tracking hit on 7/31. It took until 8/11 to be delivered to their address thanks to the Post Office delays.

Their neutral feedback to me said

"Charged $4 for shipping. Took over 2 weeks to arrive! Received others sooner."

1) The $4 shipping was calculated via eBay based on their zip code and a 3 oz first class USPS package
2) The tracking shows that this was entirely out of my control
3) eBay is a swamp - block this douche.

I'll be trying to contact eBay and get the feedback removed. I have 700+ 100% positive feedback. I take great pride in that and would like to keep it that way.

You can ask the person for a feedback revision. i went through the same exact thing. i asked for the revision explaining that it was USPS that was delayed and he changed it.

I messaged this buyer with no response yet. Quite annoyed at this...there is also no easy way to contact eBay to fix this.

I understand it's irritating, but this really isn't going to hurt you. A calmly worded response to the feedback is all you need. No one is going to be afraid to buy from you because of one neutral (that everyone should understand by now anyway) vs 700 positives.

I know what you mean. I have over 1,400 positives and 1 negative...that was totally not justified. I went over and beyond trying to make the dude happy. It still makes me mad to this day, but there is nothing I can do about it.

If item was shipped within your handling time message ebay for business on facebook. It is easily removable

In this case it does not have an acceptance date showing that. Right now its super important to get that scan.

It was shipped within my handling time. The eBay phone number that is listed on Google brings you nowhere. I DM'd their support account on twitter. If I can get in contact with a real person I feel this is easily removed, but that is proving difficult. We'll see what happens.

Every time I click the "request to remove" feedback button, I get an error that says "Invalid item or transaction." But the page sorta looks broken so maybe it's just down.

Keep trying.. I get "Looks like you don't have any negative or neutral feedback in the selected time period" so it seems to be OK for me..

BTW where are you in Long Island?

Every time I have used that they deny it even when it clearly qualifes. But go to Facebook and get it removed after the denial. Both times were for slow shipping when the item was shipped in the stated time and one was delivered 2 days early. That link declined it but the live reps on Facebook removed it.

I'm not a Facebook guy so I've never gone that route but with the Seller Help I have a 100% success rate with removal even with one that I didn't think would get changed..

I don't know what you mean by "the link declined it". It sends a report to a service rep who gets in contact with you..

Exactly, they've always done it. As long as you upload your tracking on time & get it scanned within your handling time you're fine..

The time I have used it all I got was a canned response never talked to any rep through that link

That maybe the OPs issue getting this one removed. He said tracking did not show til the 31st even though it was mailed on the 29th. So depending on handling time it could bite him.

They have for a couple of years now removed negs and neutrals for slow shipping as long as you ship within your stated handling time. Had a couple removed last year for that reason.

It was within my 3 day handling time so I should be fine there. I reported the buyer and am still waiting for a response on Twitter from @askeBay. I’ll give Facebook a shot tomorrow if no progress has been made.
