Default EZ Pass Toll Options

Is there an app you can use for travel on the highways that would work as the equivalent to an EZ Pass Toll Road Responder?

I dont think I have the time to get an responder in my hand nor get it activated not only for the state of issue, but out of state.

IF you are in Michigan and have one for use PM me

Not that Im aware of. You might be able to "Map out" your route and have them give you a listing of all the tolls youre going to drive through.

Not sure where you are traveling to, but GoToll is an app that works for tolls in Virginia.

https://www.gotoll.com/

With the COVID pandemic, many of the toll states still have their toll booths closed and are doing just bill through the mail after taking a photo of your license plate on the way through the toll.

not sure about Michigan, but on Illinois' open tolls you just keep driving and can pay online later if you didn't have a transponder in your car

Don't know of any app that replaces specific transponders. I think there are various apps that have come out that have tried, but not sure there is one universal solution yet.

I am pretty sure that toll booths in Ohio and Pennsylvania are closed at the moment and they will just bill you when you drive through. Even if you get a transponder it will not start working for at least a week after you register it.

We just added our license plate numbers on the EZ pass website so we just get billed as we pass them.

Ohio toll booths are still open, but you are correct that PA is roll through only.

Indiana was having major issues with their EZ Pass last week when I rolled through and I got stopped at the booth (as did several cars and trucks in front of me) while the lady tried to get the system to correct itself and accept the transponders.

There is no app equivalent. And your transponder is tied to your license plate.

We bought ours at a drug store.
It was active within minutes of signing up, even though it says it could take a couple days.
