Default More eBay Managed Payments Nonsense - FNF on Tax

As we get closer to the imposition of eBay's new oppressive payments system, I just wanted to bring to everybody's attention a new hitch that was recently clarified.

Previously, I covered what amounts to an increase from 1.5% to 4.65% additional fees on international purchases.

This is from eBay's explanation of managed payments

* The final value fee is based on the amount of the total order
* The total order is defined as the purchase price, tax collected, and shipping
* For international sales, shipping may be counted as the cheapest domestic option (but this is not clear)

That's right everybody, it was bad enough paying 2.9% PayPal fees on the buyers tax. Now eBay is going to take 12.3%. Because f*ck everybody.

Item #353100548938
Tax

Purchase total
2.175,00 USD
Fee
-negative 106,88 USD
Tax collected by eBay
-negative 175,00 USD
Total
1.893,12 USD

Account summary June 01 - June 30 Pacific Time
New Fees
Commissions on the final price€ 182.98
Subtotal excluding taxes€ 182.98

I don't get the complaints about taxes. You were supposed to be paying/collecting them all along, it was a loophole people were exploiting.

Paying ebay fees on the tax, yeah, that's some serious BS.
