Shouldn’t have gotten bored buying 2016 Optic Holos when Bron was $25-$50 raw and Giannis was under $5.

Should have bought more Mahomes in November-December 2019.

Also more Jordan, Lebron, and Giannis.

Started building the 2013-14 select silver set on comc when the Giannis rookie was still a $40-50 card. Had about a 3rd of the set done but decided to give up and sold everything back on comc. Pretty much got what I paid for all the cards. Unfortunately one of the cards was the Giannis rookie. Thankfully I didn’t have the lebron or Kobe because that would have been more salt in the wound. Never even had the card in hand as I never shipped it

Also opened a lot of 2008-09 topps chrome. Pulled 2 Kobe (card with lebron) orange refractor /499 and 2 regular refractors. Unfortunately sold all 4 when I quite collecting basketball in 2010. Maybe got just over $200 for all 4

My biggest one is probably when in around 2016 I decided I needed to clear out some space so I sold some cards. I'm not a big seller. Tend to keep things. Anyway, I sold Kawhi Prizm Rookies, a Trout 1st Bowman, A BGS 9.5/10 Mookie Betts Bowman Draft Green Auto, A Matt Chapman Bowman Draft Gold as well as a few other rookie / prospect autos and cards of other guys. I've tried to block out as much of the specifics as I can, but I definitely hosed myself.

Shouldn't have given away all my Mahomes base Donruss/Gridiron Kinds/etc. as freebies with all my purchases.

Should’ve kept all the sealed wax..... sealed

Shouldn’t have sold all the trouts from ‘11 draft for $2 a piece

Could have bought several cases of 03-04 Exquisite for under $1k per, but $300 a box back then was considered insane.

This list could get very long...

Also Not sure how many 2011 update Trouts were in a huge lot I sold KevinShreves years ago

I shouldn't have skipped out on 13-14 and 18-19 Prizm because the so called expects said it was a weak class.

Was going through a divorce in 2007.

Sold a near complete 1967 Topps set with about 60% of the high numbers (no Seaver and no Carew)along with a shoebox of primo early 70s stars and HOFers, as well as peak junk wax cards (83-87 Topps/Donruss/Fleer-all the stars), as well as a 1954 Topps Willie Mays that ended up grading out a PSA 8.

I really just want the shoebox back, as I still wonder what all was in there. Multiples of all the rookies from Topps/Donruss/Fleer all from vending boxes I got as a kid

Sold LeBron Ultimate RC /250 PSA 10 for $8,000 years ago (bought it for $2K)
Sold Kawhi NT RC /199 Ungraded for maybe $900 -- pulled redemption card myself and waited and received card, then sold it off.
Sold Steph Curry NT RC BGS 9.5 for $16,000K years ago (did buy it for $2K though).

(For football fans, also sold Russell Willson NT RC /25 BGS 9 for $1K years ago - pulled myself and graded.)

Needless to say, though I did make money on them at the time - and needed the money - looking at what those go for now, I regret all those sales and wish I didn't sell any of them.

Shouldn't have gotten out of the hobby in 2011 and sold everything..it took 5 years but I got back in and the stuff I sold although I made profit is worth sooo much more now. One thing I had wanted my whole life since I was a kid was a 86 Fleer MJ, I finally got one and swore I'd never sell it. Even when I decided to leave the hobby it was the one card I promised myself I wanted to keep..then I needed to fund a game used purchase and decided to part with it..that's the main card out of everything I sold that I majorly regret.

Other recent regrets

Should've waited for Zion to actually a play a game before I sold off 7 off his Prizm Base Rookies for $50 a piece. Kept one, but still stings I had 8 of em.

Should've been more aggressive with Luka cards, especially when I had a lot of extra funds to play with last year. I remember wanting the Blue Prizm so bad but just being too scared to pull the trigger.

Should've also been more proactive in Mahomes stuff. I actually told a buddy of mine that a Mahomes Optic Contenders Auto BGS 9.5 would be a good buy for a $1,000.00 yet I didn't follow my own advice and only picked up one Mahomes Rookie auto. Also wanted a Red Yellow Optic but never agressively chased it always telling myself "I'll get one later".

I probably shoulda kept the Klay Thompson Green Prizm instead of trading it for a Kyrie Hoops Rookie back when it first came out!

Higher. I try to not think about it.
2008 was a rough year so I justify it.

I sold a Bowman Chrome Xfractor Durant RC /50 for $160 on Sportlots back in 2012. I also sold a 2008-09 Skybox Ruby Jordan on ebay around 2015. The good news is that I pulled 2 (both from gravity boxes) and the other is a PSA 10 that I kept.

I should have opened more than 1 blaster of 2012-13 Prizm.
