Jasson Dominguez auto is NOT in Bowman Chrome 2020 1st edition

Sooooo.... I've been doing quite a bit of research into this as we have yet to see any Jasson chrome autos popping up ANYWHERE. I've been scouring Ebay for a glimpse, nothing. Cardboard connection released what seems to be the full list of 1st edition autographs (checklist) that have been opened so far HERE and he's not listed there either. Lastly, when Beckett released their teaser of Jasson signing cards... if you expand the image, you won't actually see a "1st Edition" stamp on the cards he is signing.

Based on the information i'm gathering. Jasson autographs are NOT in 1st Edition boxes folks.

Carboard Connection asks people to inform them about any autographs not seen on the list.
I doubt they have an "official" autograph checklist on their end as well.

"Not on the final checklist. Please let us know if you see any others."

I don't really care if he has autos or not in this product, because autos are super tough to pull anyways, but it is also true that there are so many unopened boxes still floating around in the market or being kept sealed and tucked away by buyers.
I don't think it's safe yet to assume that he doesn't have any autos in the product.

Lol considering 1st Edition was probably thrown together well after the players signed none of this "research" would indicate with 100% certainty that he doesn't have an autograph.

A lot of people are still receiving their boxes so it's all possible that just nobody has pulled one yet. Also the Dominguez platinum hasn't been pulled are we sure that wasn't left out? Chances are there are maybe 5 or fewer autographs of Dominguez so don't open this product hoping to hit one.

I'll keep everyone informed based on info i'm seeing. This forum alone has probably opened up an incredible number of packs... we've seen everything BUT a Jasson auto. I've very confident his autos are being saved for the next set.

OP is right, Jasson does not have an auto in 1st Edition. Unless one surfaces, indicating that he does have an auto. In which case OP will be wrong. Either way really top-notch research, he should start up a detective agency.

Yeah, i mean it's tricky coming out and plainly claiming that there are no Jasson autos in this set when that's what most collectors are excited for. But even the photo evidence... there's no 1st edition stamp. I think this set is being sold by Jasson's 1st edition base chrome RC and other new prospect autos like Andy Pages, Brennen and Luis. Yet all of the cards autos are messed up...

Dude, come on. These cards were stamped WAY after the players signed the cards. My 3rd grader could have figured that out.

Brujan and Adam Hill have been seen as well (not by me), but there're not there on the CC list -- it's definitely not complete.

Before 1st edition, we saw Oscar Gonzalez, Jhon Diaz, Sam Huff, Bayron Lora, Jerar Encarnacion signing. Where are they? Bobby Witt Jr has an auto in this too - where is he? Would you be willing to say those guys have no autos in 1st edition too?

There's just not enough evidence to say with any certainty whatsoever that Jasson has no auto in 1st edition.

Topps should have announced Jasson autos prior to release and then just put ~5 in there.

Could have even teased pics of them the day of release.

Would easily have sold out at $600/box.

Demand would be sky high and ppl would be ripping like crazy.

Wouldn't have really affected regular Bowman, either.

I like you. You're funny. You type in all caps a lot and yell and have a misspelled eBay ID and you want to make people think you know what you're talking about.

But you don't.

1. It's pretty well known that his card has not been pulled yet. He could have 1 card. He could have 5. He could have 10. He could have none. All of the boxes have not been opened and there IS NO checklist.

2. The one grainy picture posted didn't show all of the cards he was signing. Further, it's very common knowledge that the 1st Edition Stamp was applied POST signature.

3. Keep it up, chuckles. I could use the laughs.

As far as I know, every card so far has been unique. There are no two 1st edition stamped cards of a single player that are the same color (i.e. there are two Tarik Skubal autos, but one is base chrome and the other is yellow chrome /75). Obviously, this theory may soon be disproven.

I wouldn't be surprised if the auto checklist ends up over 100 players.

This is just my take. But why would you wait to simply stamp a "1st Edition" marker on a card AFTER the card has already been printed? That makes absolutely no sense... So you're going to print the card, send it to the player to sign, then send those select autographed cards BACK to the factory so they can add a "1st Edition" stamp? I'm pretty sure that's not what's happening here. They print the entire card, send it to the player, then send it back for sorting and packaging.

Everything? REally? Have you seen a Bob Loblaw auto inserted?

You've barely seen half the checklist of Bowman inserted in these packs.
