Just thinking from a fantasy standpoint this year and the potential of leagues being intermixed with all going on. If the NL teams were to incorporate a DH this year who gets a fantasy boost?
Diamondbacks - One of Seth Beer, Kevin Smith, Pavin Smith or Daulton Varsho. I can see with rosters expanding 1 or two of these guys being called up and getting regular at bats. The only bench bat that could take advantage of being a everyday DH is Jake Lamb and I just don't see that happening. Braves - Travis D'Arnold. I think Tyler flowers gets more starts at catcher and gives Travis to focus on hitting. Maybe Austin Riley gets some more at bats as well since he has no real spot in the lineup right now. Cubs - Kyle Schwarber - If the DH is expanded, to me I think Schwarber gets another 50-100 at bats he wouldnt otherwise and that would massively increase his value. Albert Almora Jr gets a bump as well although minor as would see the field more. Nico Hoerner I think gets more at bats with this change. Reds - Joey Votto. I think if this change happens, Votto can still focus on his bat, and get a few days to rest off the field. I think that can really work to his benefit and maybe we see a bump in what he can do. Senzel may see more at bats as well. Rockies - I think this impacts a lot of players. 1) Daniel Murphy and Ian Desmond who are defensive liabilities could get some DH time which would open Ryan Mcmahon more time at 1b, Garrett Hampson at 2b/of. The biggest bump going to Murphy but I could see this increasing the value of multiple players. Dodgers - AJ Pollock and Joc Pederson. This could allow both to be in the lineup regularly and if either are able to start hitting consistently vs right and left handers vs the platoon roles they are in - one or both of them could really be back to being a top fantasy talent. Marlins - Jesus Aguilar I could see get some time off at DH, which could keep him healthy. Outside of that maybe you see a guy like Magneuris Sierra get more outfield time/dh time and I think hes a interesting talent. Brewers - Ryan Braun. Yes he would do 1b/outfield and prob have 400 at bats this year - DH gives him 500. Thats a chance for him to really be a solid points contributor. Smoak and Garcia also get slight bumps from the days Braun would be taking from them and they get reps at DH instead. Mets - Yoenis Cespedes - If he comes back, what better way then at DH? He comes back slow and steady. Dominic Smith I can see getting a bump in at bats Phillies - Jay Bruce seems like the biggest bat on the bench - so yeah. Jay Bruce. Maybe Alec Bohm gets called to the squad? That would be interesting Pirates - I dont like any DH options, but I like the idea of gregory polanco easing back to full time with a few days off the field. Padres - Wil Myers/Frenchy Cordero. With regular at bats - I could see either of these guys becoming fantasy relevant again with that improved padres team. Giants - Joey Bart - He could be a top 12 catcher this year if Posey is a regular DH option. Hunter Pence also would see more at bats, but I cant see him being a fantasy option unless its the deepest of deep leagues. Cardinals - Matt Carpenter/Tyler O'Neil/Dylan Carlson - They will see more at bats. Thats all that matters for those 3. Carlson I think gets the biggest bump given his upside. Nationals - The old Guard Asdrúbal Cabrera, Ryan Zimmerman, Howie Kendrick all get bumps in at bats. I dont think it makes any of them great fantasy options - but increases value. Kieboom also will see more time in the field if this change happens. Any I didn't include - agree disagree? Its a interesting change if it were to happen.

Catchers than are + with the bat but not very good with the metrics & pitch-framing like Willson Contreras. He'd probably get 50+ AB's/year plus less wear & tear on his body. I agree that Schwarber would be by far the biggest beneficiary on the Cubs.

For the Phillies, I would think they would take the opportunity to not wear out Realmuto, he can hit and catches a ton of games. Easier to give him less games behind the plate and let him still be in the lineup
