Delighted Von and CHJ made it, cements the Broncos defensive legacy, puts Von now at first ballot HoF territory and elevates CHJ to real chance of induction. Irony is the Manning era and offense returned no members of the All Decade team despite the run it had, thought Demaryius Thomas might have had a chance, if there's a Second All Decade Team I'd expect him on there and would agree with the four chosen.
Talib a potential 'snub'? He'd have been worthy

They need a fourth safety spot for Harrison Smith.

I know Ramsey was a rookie in 2016 but I would’ve put him ahead of Chris Harris to be honest.

I was worried they were going to botch Fitzgerald

Navorro Bowman was definitely on the edge but just missed too many seasons to injury. 201,2014 and 2016 then retired. The other ILB's are deserving though.

Tyreek Hill is a surprise with his first season being 2016 but it's hard to argue with the impact he's had.

The Seahawk fan in me would like to have seen Kam Chancellor at Safety. Probably the most feared defender in the secondary for a solid 4/5 year span. He may have only been dominant for 4/5 years, but during that time he also started in 11 playoff games, and probably should have won SB MVP in 2013.

Yeah that’s fair. I wouldn’t have been surprised at all to see the complete legion of boom.

Yeah I mean he led the league in KR yards last year and has 7 TDs in his 7 seasons in the league, good for a measley second on the all-time list. Three-time All Pro. Scrub.

That's what I was thinking when I saw that too, although Brees' ring is from the 2009 season, so that might be the tie breaker. Either one is a great pick though!

Stats for both:

Brees - 153 games
46,770 yards
69.5% completion
345/127 TD/INT
102.9 rating

Rodgers - 142 games
38,145 yards
64.7% completion
305/63 TD/INT
103.6 rating

Retweet. This guy gets overlooked and passed up for recognition time and time again

Patterson was absolutely electric as a kick returner. Unfortunately the changes to kickoffs have pretty much made him irrelevant. He seems like a great choice for KR of the decade though, he was fantastic before the changes, and has anyone really done anything as a kick returner after the changes took place?

I’d put Justin Houston at DE over Cameron Jordan. Overall a tad better in almost all categories and did it in 20 less games.

Jordan probably got the selection because he has continued to play at a high level while Houston's stats have decreased.

I just noticed there is no standard full back spot like previous decades. The game has changed!

I read on PFT that the NFL did not have a first and second teams this year.

Nice to seen players like Campbell and Atkins recognized.

This ignores Rodgers Mvp/Sb and all pros which is a huge factor. Brees is #3 and I think its pretty clear tbh.

I specifically said that the fact that Brees' ring wasn't from this decade was probably the tie-breaker between the two. I would have picked Rodgers too, but it's pretty damn close IMO.

I'm maybe a little biased but I feel Harrison Smith should be on here. One of the best safeties year in and year out since he entered the league.

David's very underrated. But Willis was a star. Willis was only eligible for 5 years. 3x 1st team All-Pro. 4 Pro Bowls. In twice as many years, David's made one 1st team All-Pro, one second team, and one Pro Bowl.

And yet, in that time frame:

David: 1 All Pro, 1 Pro Bowl
Willis: 3 All Pro, 4 Pro Bowl

And if you wanna go by a jury of their peers:
NFL Top 100 appearances-
David - 3 with a high ranking of #35 and a low of #56
Willis - 4 with a high of #10 and a low of #27.

Thank God they take more than raw stats into account.
