Default Watching Brent from PWCC handle the Kobe PMG green nearly gave me a heart attack

First, he decides to take it out of the case to handle it (poking the edges while talking about how sensitive they are). Then, when he goes to put it back in the case, he doesn't place it within the recessed area, causing the bottom left edge to get pinched inside the holder...

The card wasn't pinched, not sure what you're seeing. Just my two cents though.

Take a look at the before and after photos, or watch the end of the video. The bottom left edge is below the recessed area, meaning it's being pinched. I had a Duncan rave arrive like that once and it had a permanent indentation on the back...

That being said, odds are the card is probably fine. Just seemed a bit careless and unnecessary. Watching it made my palms sweat. But maybe that's just me.

EDIT: here's a clearer before/after

Does seem to handle it like a meathead. Not a card you touch raw imo

A snip here and a snip there will fix that right up.

If it’s not pinched he must given the top a nice quick angled trim before he put it back in.

I agree it was not placed back in the holder correctly. Should have been wiggled into place first before putting on the lid. But a pinch won't do anything to the value of an already trimmed card.

Top left [side] seems as though the edge chipping is more pronounced after the handling, too!??! #WHY

I don't think it being altered affects value at all. PMG red and green market is set.

Interesting, look at the space fifference at the top left to see how low it's sitting in the holder.

Never understood why people don't handle high profile cards like these wearing gloves!
Especially KOBE PMG!!!

Now time for him to get defensive and cut the card in half right?

Well, when you're used to dealing with so many high end trimmed cards the worry of damaging them probably fades away and you become desensitized after a while.

If you want a heart attack, just watch how this guy treats the select boxes he opens. I figure if you spend $1000 you'd treat this stuff better but hey... common sense isn't for everyone.

I also noticed that when he's holding the card it looks diagonal cut on the right side. He mentions they believe it to be trimmed, which is probably is, but that cut looks really bad too..

Someone is going to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a trimmed card that isn't even close to square. What a world we live in..

First thing I thought of.

My son watches his videos and I saw that. I might have yelled at the screen a few times...

Not impressed, not even close. I was in awe until he muttered the word “altered” and his opinion is fact. A destroyed treasure, period!

They view the hobby solely as a business so this is what you get. I'm reminded of knucklehead breakers who cram cards into a sleeve then jam them into a one size too small top loader and repeatedly slam-hammer it on their breaker table. Same thing applies here.

I mean, to get technical, a card should be rectangle, not square.
