Is anyone still planning to go? I’m hearing rumors that dealers are dropping out...

I think the show has to go on because dealers and athletes have planned it for months. if they cancel, they are going to lose a lot of money paying dealers and athletes for cancellation. I see a lot of good deals in this show.

There are 25 known cases of CoronaVirus now in the Chicago area. All the St Patrick's Day parades are cancelled as well as many other events. If the show isn't cancelled, it will be a ghost town.

Both Joe and Bernie also cancelled and it seems like they are finally testing here, so I'd anticipate that number to climb a bit

I'm signed up for a table at the show, but I am seriously considering cancelling, not too concerned about myself but I set up with my 67 year old father and I don't want to take any chances. I'll make my decision in the morning tomorrow. I'm kind of hoping they cancel the show so at least I would get my $400 for my table back haha

Not going, canceled tonight. Fear- no. But why go? It’s just cardboard, there will be many more to come.

My friend is setting up there, he's putting out sanitizing wipes for card slabs and his cases!

Dang, didn’t realise this was on. Feels like the last one was only weeks ago. Very tempted to go to meet some HOF Dolphins! Wonder if they’ll cancel the photo ops. (The duration of a photo op or signing is under the CDC guidelines for “contact”, but still.)

This.

I’m in the area as well. Good luck to dealers and vendors going. Hope it covers The cost of the trip at least. It’ll be desolate.

Or by touching it on a surface and then introducing it to yourself via touching your face/mouth.

Exactly. Sports cards aren’t more important than my health or my families.

I scoff at doomsday preppers, but they’re all laughing at us now in their hand sanitizer filled bath tubs!

As someone who travels for his job, the airports are still packed full. All these event cancellations are precautionary. If old ass grandpa Joe is still getting carted around the airport without a worry, and Aunt Betsy who can hardly walk has her pride and joy Kibbles by her side, for #@#@#@#@s sake enjoy yourself, and wash your hands.

Have to wonder if the star signers will not want to show and take a chance on virus contraction from the crowds.

For this event to still be going on is shocking, beyond belief!

Good for you, Nick. My local guy with all the Kobe game worn stuff said he is still going. I told him all the players who aren't coming and he said as long Tyson and Lennox Lewis is still coming, he is going. That's too bad that he would put a scribble over his and his daughter's life...……..
