I'd say top 5 currently as long as he's at 90% of where he was health-wise before the injury. If he can stay healthy for the rest of his career and finish in the Top 10 on the all-time scoring list, I'd say he's easily in the Top 20 all-time, maybe Top 15. Multiple scoring titles, multiple All-NBA selections, 1x MVP, 2x Champion, 2x Finals MVP (back-to-back years and out-played LeBron both times...this is the biggest reason why I'm putting him in the Top 15-20). If he wins another title and Finals MVP, that could move him in to the Top 10, but that's a big if.

0% chance he is better than Giannis or Kawhi at 33 coming off an achilles tear

Agreed. Achilles tear is as bad of an injury as you can have while still coming back. Someone correct me if I’m wrong on that. I think Klay has a much better chance of returning to form. He’ll still be lethal, but he’s not going to win you a playoff series single handedly. I’d love to be wrong... the more talent in the league the better.

I think he’s going to be dominate still. He’s taking his time and while driving and slashing is a big tool in his game as long as he can rise up over people and shoot he’ll be fine.

I'd probably have him around 5th or 6th after the injury and at his age.
Behind LeBron, Giannis, Leonard... and right there with Davis and Harden (and someone I'm probably forgetting)

As of today & I’m only ranking by how they play in the part of the season that counts:
Kawhi Durant Lebron AD & PG have an opportunity to move into the 4th spot this year |

I'll still say he will be a top 10 player when he comes back, but I expect him to have slowed down a little.
All time he is probably in the top 20.

I recognized a demand in Durant cards lately... Good time to buy right now. He plays in New York and will be top 3 in the East.
Hoping for a healthy return! Can’t wait wait to see him ball again! |

If Durant returns fully healthy, a big if, there's not remotely 5 NBA players better than him.
People forget how good he is at both ends like Lebron and Kawhi. He outdueled Lebron 2x in back2back finals and was clearly the best player on the court. If it takes him a year to get back to 'normal' then he probably won't be a top 5 player for the next year. The good thing is that his skills don't rely on his leaping ability. He's a 50-40-90 type player and can shoot over everyone with his height.

In regards to active players, he's a solid #2 behind only Lebron. All time, he's going ot be border line top 10. An achilles injury isn't going to hurt him as much as others. Only because of the fact that He was never really all that "explosive" from an athletic standpoint. However, he is one of the best pure shooters in the NBA. This, combined with the fact that hes a legit 7ft, with a huge wingspan, hes going to be able to get off his shot, without having to elevate over defenders. This will allow him to have many more years of productive play. Depending on how long KD wants to play, I fully expect him to end up #1 on all time scoring list.
