Default Need some help valuing my Brady card

Hello Everyone,

I used to be big into cards, and now as i've gotten older i'm thinking about selling some of my cards and making some investments.

I have a 2014 Tom Brady five star base auto card. I've seen a lot of different ebay sales the past few year ranging from the 700-1000 plus range but most listings took the best offer. I'm looking for help from you guys because i would like to sell this card, but i know everybody in the FT/FS section will get annoyed if you don't have a set price in mind and just want to field offers.

If anyone can help me put a value on this card, or even is interested in making an offer, please let me know.

p.s. i didn't attach a picture because i am lazy and forget how to do that on here, but it is in fair condition, no surface problems or anything just some common white marks on the sides from the five star set

I'd start at well above $1000

everyone's free to value things as they wish. I tend to value my favorite cards as high as possible. Doesn't everyone? And from the context of the OP it seemed like maybe he/she hadn't looked at comps in a while. Plus alot of cards go for cheaper at auction than they do BIN, the big exception being hot rookies and cards from brand new releases. I certainly wouldn't completely ignore a BIN raw that sold for 2400 because a 9.5 auctioned out for 1375. I'd put it up at around 2k BIN/OBO and see what comes in.

$1200 OBO and expect around the $800 area.

yeah i have been looking at the comps, but the fact that most have been best offer accepted/not many being sold has led to wonder what they are selling my for right now. Ideally i'd want to sell it here because of ebay fees, but if things are the way they used to be a few years ago i feel like i'd put it up for 800 and everyone will act as though it i should be selling for 50% below ebay

Not much has changed. Tough to sell here unless you're dumping but I've had some decent luck trading.
