Talking 2020 Collection Goals

So, I created a similar thread last year of my collection goals. This year I want to actually maintain it. First off, I want to start sorting and inventoring my cards in some sort of program, albeit a MySQL database, spreadsheet, or some sort of App. Preferably, I want to sort cards by teams so they would be easier to sell/find, unless I have the set is complete. I also want to start a blog of my various personal collections, which could also tie into the inventoring and organizing. I would like to trade or buy for my wants and would make a list for all the respective sports/non-sports that I collect.

I am a HUGE Pittsburgh Penguins fan, so first off, some of my goals for my Pens PC:

1. Sidney Crosby Auto (probably would have to trade for this)
2. Mario Lemieux Auto
3. At least 5 Evgeni Malkin autos of some kind
a. Young Guns 06-07 UD (no auto)
4. At least 5 Matt Murray autos of some kind
5. 2016-17 UD Day with the Cup set
6. 2017-18 UD Day with the Cup set
7. 2016-17 Black Diamond Championship Rings set
8. 2017-18 Black Diamond Championship Rings set
9. SP Game Used Stanley Cup Finals Puck Cards
10. Jake Guentzel cards
a. Young Guns 16-17 SP Authentic
11. Send cards to COMC at least once a month.

Next, I want to continue to collect cards for my goalies and their masks collection. Here I collect 100 cards that are serial numbered to /100. Each goalie is represented only once and their mask has to be clearly seen. So far, I only have Corey Crawford 64/100.

Lastly, I started a collection of cards from players who share my Birthday of May 4. I am looking for RC's, autos, and cool patches/memorabilia. For the older players I would pretty much settle for anything.

Here is a list:

Code:

I've thought a lot about my plans, I believe I've got it finalized:

1) Continue to work on completion of the Ultimate Collection rookie sets from 2005-present. I have all of the autographed ones from 2005-2018, with only the current year outstanding. I'm at about 92% of the non-autographed rookies.

2) Add at least four Wayne Gretzky autographs to my small collection.

3) Continue to work on my 2004 Legends Classics autograph set as cards pop up. The SPs, duals, triples and quads are all very difficult to find.

4) Add at least two Bill Russell autographs to that small PC.

5) Go through the remainder of my collection, picking out 50-60 cards that I would like to keep because I like looking at them. Sell/trade the remainder.
