Poor guy. Why can't he just play a game, make millions, and be left alone? Heaven forbid he gives back to the people who made his lifestyle possible. He wouldn't be able to afford such great carpet if it weren't for the fans who pay to watch him play.

What kind of jackass sends these to a guy's home address and not the Dodgers?

Years ago, I was heavily into boxing and did alot of TTM.

Recieved alot of responses and a few letters.

Marciano opponent wrote a long letter. Mills Lane and Bob Foster wrote me notes.

Schmeling, Johannson, Ernie Terrell autos.

Guess it depends where you sit... I could see that level a bit overwhelming for Muncy.

You think Muncy going to take all the SASEs, cross out the addresses, and reuse them to send letters? Doesn’t seem happy about the cards coming

You do realize that not everyone is "as smart and on top of things" as you are? The casual Dodgers fan may not think about it. They just want an autograph. Everyone does not know what that proper status quo is. Maybe they should mail them all to you and you can forward them to the proper address. I am sure a large number of these "jackasses" are kids.

Heaven forbid he plays a game and is able to live his life normally outside of the game. I know this is hard to grasp since he obviously owes autograph hounds all his time. Since he makes millions he deserves to have his privacy and time taken from him. Love the logic here.

He's not a person and not allowed to have a home life since he's in the public eye

Yeah I don't agree with you. I would toss every single one and have no guilt about it.

Stop crying Max. Just form an assembly line with your family and have some family time knocking them out. You open and sign, wife opens return envelope, kids but in item and close, place in basket to take to PO on a family outing.

They are all enjoying the spoils of your labor. Put them to work.

That’s dumb. Why wouldn’t you even take the stamps off the SASEs first?

If people sent me auto requests through the mail, I would sign them. I have no idea why anybody would want my auto though

Because time is worth more than a few stamps. Especially for Max Muncy.

I'm guessing you won't have to worry about that.

On one hand, stamps are expensive. On the other hand, he is getting paid a lot

he should have just refused the first ones sent there and then people would have gotten the hint.

the past 2 months he was signing c/o his home address just fine but I guess after the address is posted on every site, group, and instagram page for free, the floodgates were opened.

that and he wasn't automatic c/o the Dodgers team address the past 2 seasons anyway so I'm sure people were scrambling to send once they realized he was signing c/o home with like a week turnaround time.

Ignorantly inconsiderate does not make it any less inconsiderate

Doubtful. Not going to hold it against a 10 year old(I will against their parents) but I bet the average 10 year old is going to send to the Dodgers address rather than try and track down Max Muncy's home

Major mixed feelings on this. Time to hire a secretary/assistant.

I’d be astonished if he wasn’t being sarcastic/ attempting a small humble brag. All posts so far seem to be taking him seriously.
