I forget that there were cards made that year other than NT. Should be good to see what nice stuff is out there.

Few NBA products and no rookies in 2011/12 cards. That was the year of the NBA lockout.

This is actually a really cool idea.

I recently put together a list of my top 100 cards and afterward wanted to see what years I have representation from... I have every year from 1996-2014, except one.... you can probably guess which.

In other words.... there just isn't a lot of good stuff from 2011.

Nice, but this is not an NBA card.

Never realized how few cards from that year I had.

Here is a pic of one:

Indeed it isn't, so perhaps I need some lessons in reading comprehension.

Let's try this again, with a (barely) three-color patch featuring a relatively solid non-silhouetted action shot:

No rookies that year?
Jimmy Butler, Kyrie, Kanter, Kawhi, Kemba, Klay Thompson?

Not a ton of talent overall but some rookies to chase right?
Or was the only product out the door NT really? Prizm started the next year right.

As my post indicated, there were no rookie cards in 2011/12. Certainly there were rookies playing basketball after the lockout, but Panini did not produce rookie cards for the 2011 draft class until 2012/13.

I know that there were no rookies in 2011 but there was XRC rookies in Limited, Gold Standard and Past and present. Panini did not list the player on the redemption card but it had a draft to determine who the card will represent.

The draft concept was cool. I had forgotten about that.

Cool selection of cards. I’ve long thought that Gold Standard was an underrated brand.

This is the time frame panini began to ruin basketball cards and
I know this isn't NBA.

Panini has an exclusive contract. Never see a new Jordan or LeBron NBA (card) Auto ever again

Anyone have a quick history lesson on the 2011 season in terms of cards?

This was an SSP or something like that... no confirmed print run and I’ve only seen 1 other copy...
