When Did PayPal Become Absolutely Useless?

I have about $200 that I forgot about in PayPal as I haven’t been selling much online lately. Went to make a purchase on a site and transfer some FanDuel funds for the weekend and it won’t let me use my balance. I have to use a CC or bank account?? What’s the point? Isn’t the entire PayPal system meant for me to use those available funds?!

In April they were forced to make changes to things due to new banking regulations that went into effect.

it is due to anti money laundering laws. you have to enter more info to use the funds.
