Default East Coast National

Figured I'd start a thread for the big, relatively speaking, show up in Westchester, NY this week. Anyone going? Anyone have past stories to tell? I'll be going for the first time to this show this year and am interested to see how it differs from other Westchester shows. Anyway, share anything in here.

November is TERRIBLE.

January and this show are the only good ones. Too many regional shows too close together.

I am curious: since there is an “east coast national”, is there a “west coast national”?

Nope. I guess the SF Tri-Star shows would be the closest thing.

January is the best, November was never terrible for me buying baseball prospects.

I’ve been to this show several times. If it’s only an hour away it’s worth going. For me it’s over two hours away and not worth the “long” drive. I like Valley Forge better.

I'll be there. Grew up in the area and visit my family there twice a month. Know it well if anyone needs any recommendations on anything.

Nice. I've been to probably three shows here over the past 2 years or so. I've been doing a Mantle base run (right now just 57-69) in PSA 5. Have had some success in Westchester and other times just can't find anyone that is within 25-50% of what I can get the cards for on ebay. One dealer in particular, Dave Estright, has been good to deal with. Hoping he has some of my final needs this weekend: 1961, 1963, and 1964.

Less than a hour drive. Might make it for either Saturday or Sunday.

I will be there. Its a good show, but do use your due diligence if you are buying raw vintage there. I have had multiple cards i purchased at the show come back as trimmed for PSA (shocking that they could actually catch something, I know)

Ya it's crazy. I just park on the side streets and walk over.

I’ll be up there Saturday (dragging my wife and kiddo, too). Last show I went to in White Plains I hit pretty early on a Sunday because I had phone calls all afternoon - looking forward to going when it’s a bit busier.

Typically this show and the January ones are the good ones.

I tried to get a booth at this about 2.5 - 3 months ago and got put on the wait list.... Heard a lot of others were wait listed as well.

I never understand why they don't put the grading companies in a separate room to free up more space for dealers. It's not like people aren't going to find them.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday, Saturday should be pretty packed.

In the past, event parking was $15. There are several large shopping centers a few blocks away where I'm sure you can park and then walk over.
