Default Is it worth going on sunday???

I'm only able to go one day, and it's usually been Saturday, but my daughter can't make it, so she wants to go sunday instead.

I usually go to go through tables and look for random things that catch my eye, or break boxes to get promo items (tristar bonus, panini packs, etc), look through low end autos and relics, etc

My daughter is there strictly for panini packs...

I'm hearing that prices may be cheaper because its sunday, but has any of the companies ever run out of promo packs and giveaways on sunday?

There are several topics on this but from experience Sunday is the day most people are ready to go home. So you will probably get a good deal from some people while others will be Long gone and not interested in doing anything but packing up.

From personal experience as both a dealer and customer/walker, I would highly suggest NOT making Sunday the only day you go to the show...

I hate Sundays.

Some dealers don't even show up.

Some that do just come in to pack up.

Always depressing when they turn what should be a grand finale to the show into a pack up and get out early day.

I wish anyone who packs up before noon gets a strike against setting up at the next national.

Meh, depends on what sort of buyer you are.

If you are at the show picking up dollar autos, or rifling through boxes of base, the pickens are slim.

If you have money to bulk buy, Sunday is the best day to take advantage of dealers that do NOT want to pay to ship all that junk back, or who dread having to load it all back up in their Uhaul.

Ive bought 6 full size signed helmets off of someone, who cut the price on Wed from $150 to $120 by the end of the show. I got them for $80 each in bulk, which is less than an unsigned helmet would go for.

Ive bought crates of signed jerseys to flip, and monster boxes of cards to dump on ebay for a song as well.

I love Sundays!

I think many companies have the sense to space allocations so there are some for each day. You might want to arrive at the start in case someone you care about has a "first 100 each day" deal. And make friends with someone who can text you the Panini Silver Pack times. That way you know how to plan ahead for what boxes you need to get from whom, and what time you need to stand in line. (That same person (probably not me) can probably verify earlier that Panini will have an allocation for Sunday.

I made the biggest deal of the show last year (for me) on Sunday afternoon. Come see our booth. Dealers obv wanna get out of there, and at the same time, people coming to the show should know that people are here from all around the country and need to get moving. BUT I do understand your frustration in it.

248/250 - come find us on Sunday!
