Default VIP info

I'm debating signing up for VIP but only planning on attending Thurs/Friday (I'm local so I could do Wed. too) so I was debating if the cost is worth it if you aren't going all days.

My question is in general what kind of "free" stuff comes with it? I know there are auto tix and stuff, too, which isn't always my thing.

Any insight is appreciated!

If you don't do the autos, its not worth it at all. Those are the only real perk.

You will get a bag with garbage promo cards, maybe worth $10 total if you sell them all right away. 5 cards (or so) from the major makers.

All the value is in the free VIP autos.

I paid for it, $139 is a good deal. I'm going for at least 3 days though, to get the signatures I need for my PC. That would cost me $66 in admission without the pass.

leaving $73 past admission. I get 6 random auto tickets, and 6 wild card I can use for the guys I really need.

I'm getting Dave Wilcox on a full size helmet, HOF Gold Jacket and a football. He charges $40 an auto. If I draw him on my VIP random, I then use 2 Wild Cards for the rest.

That is $120 I dont have to spend for 3 signatures, and I already saved $50 right there, with 9 more autos to get.

I usually trade off VIP players I cant use, for ones I can, and just swap with fellow board members at the show.

If you were going to buy 12 tickets for the VIP autos, at $35 each on average, that is $420 out of pocket. $110 in value for 5 days admission. And a bag of crap worth $10.

You are still talking $540 in value, for $139. Plus you get in a half hour early (avoiding the lines) plus you can crash and get munchies in the VIP lounge.

One day, no autos, its is not worth it at all. Pay the $20 and have $120 more left in your pocket.

You can sell the auto tickets and sell the pass to someone who may only hit the show the other days after you're done. I did that last year.

First time VIPer here as well. Do we get the lanyard on day 1 of the show?

EDUT: Got an email tonight about it actually with VIP instructions.

Plenty of value in buying the pass. The past couple years, I have bought the Super VIP for myself and a VIP for my dad. This year, I went with 2 Super VIPs.

I could care less about the autos, and last year I moved them all around $5 each. With parking attached to the Super VIPs, it was a no brainer to go with both Supers as I have already moved the extra parking pass and brought my cost down to what it was last year.

With that being said, we go each day of the show (Wednesday thru Sunday) so without a VIP, it would still cost $100. I place a lot of the value on the freebies released by each company (remember there are a lot of collectors that can't make it and would like these) and doubling up on those on the Super VIP works out well.

So, if all goes as planned:

Parking Pass: $60 (hard cost is $15/day)
VIP Autos: $180 ($5 x 18 x 2)
2 Gift Package Sales: $40 conservatively

Total $280

We would be attending all 5 days for $120 and still have the parking, 2 Gift Packages, 2 Badges, and early entry. No brainer, but I am going every day, whereas you only plan to go 3/5 days. I would say if you're able to move the autos and gift package, the VIP is a no brainer. Super VIP could make sense as its only $60 more and gets you parking and the extra benefits. Just my two cents.

Yup. I believe check in starts at 10 or 11 on Wednesday. They hand you everything when you check in.
