Default Check out this Curry Gold Vinyl

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F372639289318

There's no true "1 of 1". Was this a replacement stamped with the National 1 of 1? If so why would you circulate a replacement for a 1 of 1? I cant find any sale of the original gold vinyl or if it has ever even been pulled but I'd be kinda be irked if I owned the true 1 of 1. With that being said, it's still a cool card.

It literally says it on the card and in the grading sticker, its a National VIP 1/1, they printed an extra and stamped it. If I owned the original there would be a premium since its pack pulled and much harder to find.

Yeah I see it's a National VIP, I just hadnt seen a gold vinyl version before but it's not like I've been looking that hard. 1 of 1 extras should never be "repurposed" and circulated imo.

I can't agree more. Truly. This is a weird situation. But I'm not going to be bothered until we know that there is a true 1/1 also.

Itd be even more disturbing if that was the original and it was never stamped and circulated. Unlikely though.

Panini doing Panini things.

I got real excited when I saw it this morning until I realized what it was. Love that set.

As someone who did the Gold set, I can assure both of you that 1/1 Gold Vinyls were included in packs. Was Curry packed out? I'm not sure. I suspect he was and that this is just a copy with the "National" stamp on the front to differentiate from the pack pulled one.

They randomly stamped base card 1/1 (or other low number) and throw them into National promos and stuffs like that. Panini doesnt care.

I have the Klay card just like this, but it is still on the Panini VIP Party Badge from when I went to the party... Wonder if it is worth anything

I would think this is the same concept as their "Panini White Box" and "Panini White Box"

I'm glad BGS gave the surface an 8 due to the stamp.

The surface is likely do to the plastic that was pressed over it to keep is sealed into the card.

So the stamp was on the pass itself and not the actual card? I've always wondered that.

No the stamp is on the card. But the plastic kinda leaves a residue when removed. At least from what I’ve seen in other cases. I’m sure that’s why the surface got hammered.
