Default Topps 10 x 14 Posters & Oversized 5 x 7 Sets

Does anyone else on here buy these?

I got the 2019 Topps Inception Gold 1 of 1 Mike Trout 10 x 14 Poster today.

I've never bought an oversized set, but they look pretty cool to me.

I've heard they're difficult to sell but I haven't tried myself. I like them but I don't feel like buying a bunch of 5x7 top loaders to keep them safe. Needless to say Trout was a good buy.

I snagged a 10x14 Ohtani RC 1/1 last year. Looks really nice. Haven't tried to sell it. I see someone is asking $500 for an Ohtani 1/1 poster from last year but I see very little in recent sales.

I think some of them are bought by people thinking they can get them signed someday. A lotof them wouldlook good signed and framed.

Imho,

Topps.com sometimes does 50% off sale for posters, and I buy some during that time.
But honestly, I haven't found what to do with them, and they are just tucked away in a binder or between the cardboards that they come in.

I also bought the 5x7 set of 2018 Topps HHN Throwback variation at the full price, because the checklist included Ichiro in it, and it's much more affordable way to own the Throwback "card" rather than buying the regular sized Throwback variation card from ebay or elsewhere (since the odds of pulling those cards are super tough).

I've always loved the look of these, they even made some metal cards a few years ago. BUT, as most have stated, resale value is low.

I love framing and putting these up in my office at home, I have 6 on the wall currently and they look fantastic. But I'd never buy one to try to make a buck on it as that market doesn't exist.

Just did a quick look at the posters on the Topps website. I gotta say they look pretty cool. I’ll definitely look closer tomorrow and likely get one as a test run for possibly buying more. Saw several Ted Williams so I will get one of those and go from there.

I'm looking for some 5x7 cards and I haven't seen any series 1 or opening day show up on eBay yet. I messaged the fellow who I have bought from in the past and I can never get a reply. Where do people buy these from?

I bought 2018 Stadium club jumbos they have best photography. Got them for $1 a piece on sale last black Friday weekend. I have bought many on ebay of my favorite players. Also bought 2019 150 years of baseball for the cool old pictures.

Glad this thread has helped Topps sell more. LOL!

I do what I can when I can!

Seriously, you'll love them. I have a Ken Griffey Jr. from Gypsy Queen a few years ago. I got the gold 1 of 1 and the base print #'d 1/99

I was really happy.

I also got a few Trouts this year. They are really nice in hand. Look great framed.

I bought a Ted Williams Stadium club where he's swinging a bat and it's flexing or bowing a bit, pretty cool image and I'm looking forward to getting it in hand. Hopefully they will still be available after that because I'll probably order a couple more and just keep out displayed in a frame and rotate them on a regular basis. I can't display too many and one time so as to keep some domestic bliss.

Got the poster in the mail today and it's #1/99 so that's a cool bonus. I'll head to hobby lobby in a couple of days for a frame...

Looks like the current crop of rookies, Aaron Judge, Trout, Soto, Gleyber, and Acuna are starting to make these 5x7s trending up on Ebay of late. $15 to $20 range. Others over $5.

There is some sneaky value in these.

I missed this thread when it originally posted.

I had the same conversation with a friend who sells these on his online card shop and we thought he needed to do a video of what the cards look like. Everyone loves them once they see them, but most people have never seen one.

So here was his video he just posted:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwJ3...ature=youtu.be

FULL DISCLOSURE: SOME OF THE 2018 CARDS HE SHOWS ARE MINE.

Some of the value isn't even sneaky.

The Heritage High Nickname variation was a 5 card set for $10 for the /49 and $20 for /10.

Checklist: Vlad, Alonso, Bryce, Manny, Ichiro

The bigger sets are a little less profitable, value-wise... Action Variations were 25 cards for $50. Still has the bigger names, but then you're still paying $2/card for the smaller names.

doesn't look like the 2019 Topps Series 1 5x7 set was ever listed.
I see series 2 but not series 1

I’ve been disappointed that they don’t put these on discount for holiday weekend sales anymore.

Yeah, it was fun picking them up at discounted prices in the past. Sometimes I’d go way overboard during long holiday weekends.

I buy all the flagship (and flagship reprint) Trouts in 10x14.

I'll also pick up a few 10x14 rookies for guys I like on occasion.

I've, in the past, purchased some of the 5x7 stuff... but wasn't overly impressed.

I do really like the 10x14 though, they frame up and display really nice!

Hell yeah. I bought my fair share of 5x7s and posters. And get the free card too even better.

I just bought 10x14's of Fernando Tatis Jr., Topps Series 2 and Topps Finest, to add to my little poster collection...

My Rookie Card 10x14's
Kyle Schwarber 2016 Series 1 Base Poster - #'d to 99

(2015 Topps) Kris Bryant 2016 Topps Archives Baseball 65th Anniversary Base Poster - # to 99
(2012 Topps SP) Bryce Harper 2016 Topps Archives Baseball 65th Anniversary Base Poster - # to 99

My Mike Trout Flagship 10x14's
(2011 Topps Update) Mike Trout 2016 Topps Archives Baseball 65th Anniversary Base Poster - # to 99
(2012 Topps) Mike Trout 2017 Topps Baseball Series 1 REDISCOVER TOPPS Poster - # to 99

Mike Trout 2016 Series 1 Base Poster - #'d to 99
Mike Trout 2017 Topps Baseball Series 1 VETERANS Poster - # to 99
2018 Topps Series 1 Baseball Mike Trout Base Poster - # to 99
2019 Topps Series 1 Baseball Mike Trout Base Poster - #'d to 99

I don't believe they were making these in 2014... but they might have in 2015. I know I have a 2015 Topps Chrome Mike Trout metal card that is pretty big (maybe, 10x14). If by chance they did make 10x14 posters of flagship Trout for 2014 and/or 2015... and anyone has any available... I would be interested!

Are the posters made of cardstock or are they like a movie poster?
