Default Titans (TV Show)

Anyone else watching? Two episodes released so far and I am really enjoying it.

Definitely not for younger kids if any parents were wondering.

I love it so far. DC knows how to make quality shows.

Yeah, so far Marvel has them beat at the movies, although Wonder Woman was a step in the right direction.

So I’m hesitant to watch it. From the trailer it seemed like they switched the personalities of Star and Raven.

Plus after OG and Go! And Movies! I’m a little beast boy burntout

They very well might have. I don't know the characters well enough to know the difference, but I do know I like what I saw. Hawk and Dove were awesome! Especially Hawk, and Dove is a cutie!

Im not a Teen Titans (or just Titans) fan really. Dont dislike, just never really felt. I need to get the DC Universe fired up since this version seems more appealing than previous iterations.

Is this why DC Comic Presents #26 has gone up? Sorry been out of the loop.

There needs to eventually be a Megapass service that gets you access to all of these services. Having 15 subscriptions isn’t going to work

Sounds like cable

I'm a huge Teen Titans fan, and really like this show. Just my 2 cents worth.

Right. Even though it's not the first appearance of the Teen Titans, who date back to the 60's, it is the first appearance for three popular new teammates, and was the relaunch of the team that has lasted 35+ years and spawned many spin-offs like the new TV show. It's like the equivalent of the Giant Size X-Men #1 and X-Men #94 although issued about 5 years later. People were more into collecting and protecting comics by then which is why it has remained very affordable compared to those X-Men books.

I believe the megapass service will be called pirating, and that it will be free. Or maybe have the one time cost of a hacked fire stick whatever the kids are doing these days.

Seriously though... the streaming service original programming proliferation is awesome for entertainment but i just cant believe its sustainable. People are cutting cable to save money, nobody is ponying up the same or more to pay for a bunch of different services.

It will be interesting to see people sharing their accounts, those accounts being suspended and those services start losing subscribers due to it.

The content is up and down with these services so I guess paying for a month at a time to see one series might be worth it but its a pain.

I just paid for a service to see Dan Harmon's Harmon's Quest (great show) but nothing else on that site interests me.

Anyone else catch DOOM PATROL on this weeks Titans? I thought the show was excellent, can't wait to see more of these misfits.

This weeks episode of TItans introduced us to THE DOOM PATROL and I loved it. So the spin off series is something I'll be watching when it premieres. Many are saying this is DC's answer to Marvel's X-Men, but I've already read that Stan Lee stole the idea from DC based off this series. Who knows the real truth, but both teams are very similar. Stan Lee sure does get blamed for stealing ideas an awful lot though.

Starting it now, just one episode through, but so far, so good.
Looking forward to the Doom Patrol.
