This video is the perfect cross section of Cubs fans. You're either a genuinely good person who loves their team and just wants to respectfully support them (like the "There's no fighting in the bleachers! guy), or you're a complete and utter jack*** (everyone else in the video).

Sadly, the ratio is similar to what I just witnessed in that video.

True, but not at the Cubs ratio. My company has seat right behind the third base camera well, i.e. the visiting dugout. Have been to 100-150 games over the last 12 seasons in those seats. I've met many a friendly, respectful, baseball wise Reds, Twins, Padres, hell even Cardinals fans. Pirates fans are a blast. I won't even go to a Brewers/Cubs game anymore, if that tells you something.

Is Chicago really so dangerous that the police have better places to be?

If this were Cleveland you would have saw ten cops up there about 30 seconds into the video. I am very surprised that a bunch of old men in red shirts with no protection were responsible for breaking this up.
