Topps redemption pull and surprise.

So, a few weeks ago I bought a couple rack packs or Archives and pulled a redemption for a Bobby Valentine Fan Favorites auto. It was the first Topps redemption I've pulled since ones you had to actually mail in haha

Anyway, thought it was cool to at least get an auto even though it wasn't super awesome. So I went and redeemed it the other night and I went to eBay just to see if they were live or not. Now in my mind, I was assuming it was just a 4-5 dollar card as is. But when I was checking eBay, the damn thing is selling for like 40-50 bucks. I was like what the hell? That's not too shabby. And some are live, so hopefully I get it quick.

It also appears to be his first certified autograph card? Didn't see any others of him made yet. Wonder if maybe that's why it sells for so much? Not like he did anything spectacular except win the pennant with the Mets in 2000.

He has at least one other Archives autograph

2004 Archives Fan Favorites auto. That one has him with the Rangers.

Think that may be his only other.

Ah, that's cool. When I was looking after I pulled it, I only saw like IP type auto cards and whatnot. Nothing certified stood out to me.

So maybe because this is his first Mets one? Or is it SP? Idk why he'd sell for that much, but can't complain too much.
