Got this in a group break that Matt hosted. I can't tell you how many those Kobe packs I opened from 2012-13 product and never hit anything. Got randomized the Lakers spot of a 2012-13 product that he broke and this beauty popped out -

It's funny how $1 cards can be sometimes be so cool to own. I love looking at my Kobe inserts, all from 2000-01 SP Authentic. I think a couple of them are particularly stunning and look like they should be worth $100+.

Definitely, UD really stole the show in the early 00's while fleer/skybox and certain topps sets were starting to go down the tubes in terms of design.
Here I was thinking I had taken the best pic of the card to date but yours is even more crisp than this...

When I got back into the hobby after college, I pulled this Kobe in the first NBA box I purchased(This was around the time the 2010-11 UD UNC product was out) so it's staying with me.
