Default NBA Finals Cleveland VS. Golden State IV

Round 4 coming up probably, I see it being Lebron's farewell and a GS sweep.

Was hoping one of the Celtics or Rockets would pull the upset. I can't describe how disinterested I am in seeing Cleveland/GS for the fourth time. Not sure I will watch a single game.

Sadly I believe this will be the thoughts of many. I can't even see Cleveland taking 1 game in a series against this loaded GS group. I'd love to have seen them against Houston....but the Rockets look gassed and done. I hope I'm wrong about them.

I think the Rockets would have closed the series out in Game 6 with Paul. They just aren't a great playoff team when they have to rely solely on Harden drawing fouls.

I won't watch a single second of it unless I flip through the channels and fly past it. Warriors will sweep and if not the league had a hand in it to try and keep people interested. Regardless, I have no interest.

I won't be watching as well. Didn't watch last year. Same teams same old crap. People want the NBA to be like hockey and baseball where you can't predict things. Everyone knows each year its going to be golden State and Cleveland. And if Durant stays with golden St which he will they be back next year too. Regular season is 2000 times better than the playoffs.

The NBA needs to step in. They let Durant sign outright with golden State but veto a trade sending cp3 to the Lakers, which gasol and Odom and more where getting traded. Lakers woulda had Paul Bryant bynum and no bench. But they allow Durant to join 3 all stars and guys like David west to take big paycuts to join. The should have contract minimums for certain players based on various things. And eliminate max contracts. If Mike Conley makes 35 million, Durant should at least be making 60 which then would force golden State to not sign him or let go of green and Klay.

They did. That's why it's Golden State and Cleveland again. The 2 faces of the NBA. You can't have a finals without them. That's the money matchup. Nobody cares to see Kyrie vs. Harden. The NBA would lose money.

I personally won't be watching either. I probably watched as much NBA as I did NFL this past season (about 3 games of each). But I knew it'd be Lebron and Steph back in The Finals.

How much Basketball do you watch? Because Kyrie has been out the entire playoffs..........................................................

You knew what I meant. Anyone besides Lebron vs. Steph would not sell tickets/ads, make money. I didn't mean specifically Kyrie. I mean Boston vs. Houston (or any other teams besides GSW/Cleveland).

I won't say it's rigged. But it's the same teams over and over. It gets old after awhile (like Brady always making the Super Bowl).

Boston is a big market for the NBA. CP3/Harden are big stars. I don't buy it at all.

I'm not even sure i'll watch the finals this year. Same two teams for 4 seasons in a row now and it's just gotten boring IMO. I hope Lebron goes to another team next season just to switch it up a bit, lol.

^^^ The man speaks the truth. It's all about the money, not face offs based on unadulterated competition. It's business. It's been this way for a long, long time.

They wouldn't make as much money because no one ever has a chance to see the other 28 teams in the finals. Your telling me people wouldn't wanna watch something like giannis vs Westbrook. People would go nuts if the NBA was actually exciting.

All you guys skipping the NBA Finals need to use your spare time now to watch the Stanley Cup Finals. If tonight was any indication this series is going 7 very exciting games.

Why would the NBA rig it to be Cavs v Warriors if no one wants to watch that again?

Not much logic being used here.

For everybody saying it’s all about the money, aren’t you guys the same people who also say the refs rig the games to make the playoffs longer?

The Cavaliers are about the get swept out (may win game 3 I guess), thus costing the NBA money. I guess I’m confused at the circular logic.
