LeBron will be taking his talents to Houston next year to get them over the proverbial hump. Rockets have no chance to win this series without CP3

When he first signed to the rockets I never expected him to make the huge positive impact that he's had so far this season.

But even on the bench he'll probably still be a positive impact. Guy has been a great leader to his team.

I don't think Houston wins game 6 with or without CP3, but I think they absolutely have a chance in Houston for a game 7 if CP3 is still out.

Harden is capable of putting up huge numbers and getting hot from beyond the arc. He has multiple ways to score and is due for a big game. One would think he's got to breakthrough the wall at some point in this series.

Hoping for a big game from him Saturday night but I'm not holding my breath.

Warriors -12 for game 6. Lol. Take the misses out to the movies that night and get ready for game 7.

Really stinks. Harden has to show up with a performance for the ages one of these next two games. He was dreadful last night.

I wish this wasn’t true.

I'm getting sick of the constant high profile injuries.

This is a real shame. I'm not a Rockets fan but Paul has carried them in this series. Really a shame if this costs them the series, they had a real chance to knock out the Warriors.

Sucks that Iggy has been out and now CP3. Would be much better seeing these teams at full strength. Having no inside knowledge I think this is strategy. I think Houston understands there is almost no chance of winning game 6. I am sure CP3 could play if he had to but the rest and being healthy for a home game 7 is smarter.

One thing that could be interesting is if Harden did have a good game and there was less iso and more drive and kick, the role players could really step up like Tucker, Ariza, Capela and co. When CP3 is there they are better but they take turns with iso and there is less ball movement.

They still have a chance. It's diminished but they still have the pieces to overcome Paul's absence. Harden needs to step up though. There's no denying that.

Man, I'm really wanting the warriors to repeat but not like this. Losing to a great team is one thing but beating a team that isn't 100% seems a little empty

Good points. I agree.

I've been critical in the past of chris Paul's playoffs failures, but man, this one is hard to swallow.

He's a game away from erasing so much of the shade and at least getting on the level of Barkley, Malone, Miller, etc who at least made it to the finals.

The image that sticks in my mind right now is him getting up after he hurt his hamstring, knowing he needs to get back on D but not beings able to, looking like a lost wounded animal.

If this ends up being the end of Paul's season I'm not sure I can stomach it.

I know it's just a game but man, sending out a prayer that he at least gets a shot to go in game 7

Lebron won't sign with Houston -- they don't have cap space, and Lebron won't play for less than near max.

Houston-Golden State is going 7 games regardless. The real impact the Chris Paul injury has is psychological. Do the Rockets believe they can win game 7 without him? We'll find out.

Plus...part of me feels like D'Antoni is relieved because if his team blows the next two games, he can blame it on the Chris Paul injury. Just the impression I get from the guy. "Hey, we were up 3-2! I did my job! Can't blame injuries on me!"

I wouldn't count my eggs yet if I were the warriors. They have been playing stupidly. Losing Iguodala hurts them in many ways. He has always been one of the top on the team in +/- all year

Hamstrings are hard to come back that quick. Jaylen Brown only missed 1 game, hopefully the Rockets are that fortunate.

As a Lakers fan, that's the feeling that I got from him too. The "It's not my fault" vibe. I could be wrong but that's how he sometimes comes off.

Zero percent chance Chris Paul misses Game 7.

Even if he has to play on crutches. He waited his whole career for this chance. He’s not passing it up unless he’s dead.

That Lakers team was not his fault. What a mess. It starts with Dwight Howard.

It's a bit harsh to act like D'Antoni is happy to lose. He's stuck to his guns over the years and some.of it has rubbed off on Kerr with those Phoenix teams.

If Hou win this, that's a pretty monumental upset. People go on about LeBron being down 3-1 and beating GS but this would be way bigger than that.
