Reached him thru ebay and indeed he is the same guy.

Also was able to buy the card he had on comc.

The seller is Class A!

Seller mastro740 on COMC is a giant douche. I send an offer of $19 on a card he has 5 copies of at $24, he rejects then raises his price to $41. More than $10 above every other seller.

Maybe he had them underpriced and your offer made him realize that. Not uncommon for that to happen on COMC. Its his card his price.
