Panthers Released Jonathan Stewart - Let's See Those Stew's.......

If I wasn't having a rough enough time this week as an Arizona alum and uber Arizona hoops die hard, the Panthers go and cut my favorite player today.

I was expecting it due to his cap number, but today of all days????

Still holding out hope they'll resign him to a team friendly deal as I think him and CMC can be a great combo given a healthy Cam and O-Line

But figured now was as good a time as any to share some of my favorite Stewart cards, will only do a few now to start and probably add some later as well, as I have quite a few nice ones.......

I had some great national treasures rpas at one point , was definetely a fan favorite and great RB when he wasn’t dealing with nagging injuries

I was disappointed to see the news today. He dealt with some injuries, but he obviously was still contributing quite a bit this year.

Here's my favorite one that I have of Stewart. I love that it has part of the the Panther whiskers from the logo.

He didn't perform much for my fantasy team I'll tell you that much. I remember watching some Panthers games and feel like his YPC was abysmal. I do remember him having one game with 3 TDs I think but overall his numbers were pretty poor.

Definitely a sad day but at least we had a solid decade of great action and got to see him score in a Super Bowl even if we lost.

NOOOOOOOO, anywhere but freaking Seattle, ugh. I mean he is from that part of the country, so it makes sense, but Seattle sucks.

Anyways, he's actually one of the better pass blocking RB's in the league, he's been known to flip pass rushers and put them on their ass all the time.
