Any thoughts on non iPhone cell phones

Looking at a new phone, and have never had an iPhone and I'm not sure I want to start now. Anyone else who doesn't have an iPhone who has opinions on which smart phone they prefer?

I've heard great things about the Pixel 2, but not sure what else is really out there. Would love to get some feedback from people with first hand experience.

I'm an iPhone user, and big apple backer.

With that being said, If I got any other phone it would be the Pixel 2. I have heard great things about that phone compared to other non apple phones.

Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

I’ve been an iPhone guy my whole life, the Pixel is the first phone i’m seriously considering that’s not Apple. Goodluck though! If it helps, Apple is more ‘out of the box friendly’ vs Android and non-Apple are a little more complex. Not much as it used to be, granted.

Never owned I-Anything except a mini shuffle.

I use an HTC phone. I like it but it is not my life. The new Samsung is getting raves by people I know who have it

Had several Samsung Galaxys and happy with them. Currently using an Moto Z Play and happy with it (minus the price tag and contract). Pretty good battery life (but apple's battery life blows away andriods). At this point most phones are non user replacable batteries, so you're kinda stuck there.

We have had good luck with Samsung. the only thing I do not like about the new ones is the curved screen.

As for iPhones being more user friendly, that might be true if you are used to Apple products but if you are used to Android, you could easily become frustrated.

I just picked up a G6 last week, finally replaced the G2 that got busted last year.

I really like it, 4k camera, 32gb and can take a 2tb card.

Plays the games and runs all the apps I use without fail.

I had an iPhone for many many years. This time around I went with the Pixel 2 and love it. Very customizable and the camera is phenomenal. There is a bit of a learning curve but it's not bad.

I love my iPhone. I had an android before I got it and I will never go back to an android again. iPhone Runs so smooth. My android used to crash and bug out all the time. Only drawback with iPhone is it doesn’t take as good pictures as the android.

I went from Samsung to Apple. Going back to Samsung as soon as I decide to trade my iPhone in.

Exactly! After having iphones 4-7, I just switched to the Pixel 2 this past weekend. A day or two just getting used to the new interface, but I love it.

It's incredible to have a phone that HOLDS A CHARGE!!
