Topps Redemption Screwing

Received two replacements that I did not request and was screwed. Called Topps Customer Service (Ryan) this morning and was told replacements are final. Asked to talk with Supervisor and got the run around in meeting not available etc, etc.

Redemption # 1 - 2012 Five Star Dual Signature Patch Book Freese/Holliday S #/ 10, Replacement - 2012 Bowman Sterling Dual Autographs Bogaerts/Bradley Jr. S# / 99.

Redemption # 2 - 2012 Tier One Crowd Pleaser Autograph White Ink Matt Holliday S # / 25, Replacement - 2010 Bowman Chrome Base Autograph Kellin Deglan.

Like everyone else no more redem's for me, ever. Have 5 more Holliday redemption's that will probably never be made asked for values and replacement options.

** UPDATE - Well, after filing with the BBB, going back n forth and letting it go to long. I received the following replacement for replacements today.

2013 Bowman Sterling Dual Blue Refractor Autograph Francisco Lindor / Carlos Correa S#15/15.

I feel this is much better than what I originally received. Should I decide to sell I likely will be able to recoup original funds spent.

Who was the second redemption for? I'm guessing it was for someone better than Kellin Deglan. That's pretty brutal that they'd send junk BC autos from guys who never made the majors.

File a BBB. It's the only way..

I filed a BBB against Topps, and my issue got fixed pretty quick

Wow that's rough. The first replacement is bad, but at least an okay card. That replacement on the second one, and IMO the Holliday silver might be worth more than the Holliday/Freese dual, is inexcusable

What Topps is doing is inexcusable, and until we as the consumer do something about it, it will not get fixed.

I have this same card in my redemptions...haven't heard of it being replaced yet so still holding out hope.

On the first card, Bogaerts/JBJ at least has the potential for appreciation, even though it's not worth as much as the dual patch auto now. On the second, they gave you a card that should have been used as a free throw-in. That's grotesque.

No, separate replacements. Freebie for # 1 was '12 Heritage Minors ROA A. Sanchez and for # 2 '11 Bow Sterling Dual Relic Ref Freeman/Heyward S # / 99.

You sure the Freeman/Heyward wasn't the replacement and the Deglan was the throw-in?

This was a few years ago but yeah taht 2nd redemption is a joke.

Those are completely unacceptable replacements. I know the companies that do redemptions issue them with good intentions but if they aren't able to complete the redemption they seem to have a "who cares" response. They send out something and hope that the recipient is either satisfied or just wont bother them and accept it.

Freaking awful! I feel for you, had an auto /10 I was waiting on, gave proof the same card in a /50 had sold for over $50, got a $25 auto.

TOPPS DNGAF... I will never buy another redemption again, and SELLING any I pull.
