Freaking Christ I am out of the loop.

What a bum, I was so excited to root for this guy now (since I couldn't before as a cardinals fan) and of course as soon as I turn on the game he's sitting for the national anthem. Now I'm going to have to sell my Marshawn stuff before his prices crash also

That took the National Anthem protest to a sad new low.

Why hate on Lynch and not the TV producers zooming in on him?

I mean, everyone here is intelligent enough to realize that, if not for their decisions to air these instances, no one would even be aware of them? People in the stadium should be looking at the flag, not monitoring players for patriotic behavior. People at home only see what the cameras show them. If people are pissed, just tell them to stop airing it. Getting pissed at a guy's personal convictions is a bit thought-police-ish to me.

The line of thought that says:

Guy doesn't like something, protests = Fine

People don't like guy's protest, react = Not fine

is hypocritical.

People who say they are "tired of seeing and hearing about it" but only directing their anger at the player and not the one's literally shoving it in your face = Idiots

Couldn't have been said any better. Quit giving them the air time. Nobody will talk about it if they aren't making it the purpose of airing the National Anthem to zoom in on these guys. It is just as much their right to sit/kneel down during the anthem as it is mine to think they are stupid to do it. All I ask is to not give them the time of day....

Unfortunately, these Liberal Media Production companies are trying their absolute hardest to stir up racial tensions and bring politics into the Sports world. Not sure if it is just me, But when I am watching sports, the last thing I want to hear/think about is Politics, or how unfair these Millionaires are being treated

Because eyeballs = ad dollars, we are fast approaching Idiocracy critical mass in broadcasting. If it offends people, it's marked for prime time.

This POS Lynch really sat and ate a banana during the National Anthem?

Just another nail in the coffin for the NFL for me.

What a bum. NFL needs to do something about this. Tired of seeing dumb political statements in a football game.

Lynch is afforded the option to sit while others have the option to respond. The media also has the right to broadcast what he is doing on the sidelines.

Is your decision due to the fact that the NFL chooses to broadcast his act or because the NFL allows him to commit his act in the first place?
