You can get multiple packs per box, depending on what you buy!

I think this makes a big difference in terms of whether to open or sell. A Stadium Club case now yields 32 redemption packs. I wonder if Topps realized there would be a large amount of leftovers given the price / shortage of unopened material or if production was increased.

Kind of wished I knew this information before selling my SC case! SC may be one of the best values for obtaining the packs.

I know, it makes you wonder if the program will be changed again before the show starts - or even during the show if there is not a lot of activity. Fortunately, I saved my Stadium Club case so that will give me 32 packs for a total of 128 cards.

Here is a list of products that can be purchased and the cost per redemption pack. If there is a figure that is incorrect, please update. I based most prices from BO. SC and Ginter appear to be the best value for baseball products.

2017 Bowman Jumbo $125 per pack
2017 Allen & Ginter $62 per pack
2017 Archives $71 per pack
2017 Finest $86 per pack
2017 Gypsy Queen $83.25 per pack
2017 Topps Heritage $100 per pack
2017 Inception $98 per pack
2017 Museum Collection $76 per pack
2017 Pro Debut $84 per pack
2017 Topps Series 1 Hobby $95 per pack
2017 Topps Series 1 Jumbo $85 per pack
2017 Topps Series 2 Hobby $67 per pack
2017 Topps Series 2 Jumbo $66 per pack
2017 Stadium Club $60 per pack
2017 Tier One $68.50 per pack
2017 Tribute $100 per pack
2017 MLS Soccer $64 per pack

UFC might be the best choice if you are buying at the show because I'm sure MLB stuff will be in low supply and selling for a premium.

Stadium Club is definitely the best value on this list for ripping.

I'd tend to say Ginter far exceeds Stadium Club in value here. Didn't Stadium fall flat on its face? What I've seen so far it looks horrible.

Looks like I may not open my case tomorrow and wait til next Thursday.

I've never done the Topps program before as I've always focused on Panini for their silver packs, but is there a limit to how much stuff you can open at one time in line? If I did this I would purchase a case of something. Let's say a case of Ginter...would I be able to open the case and get my 24 packs all at once or do I have to circle the line over and over? Panini has a 2 box limit most years so you have to keep getting back in line, but the Panini line is short.

Am I in the minority that thinks this whole "opening in front of the Topps employee" part is kinda bogus?

I plan on buying a box of Undisputed, which would yield me 3 packs, but maybe I wanna open the box in the comforts of my hotel room or even when I go back home.

Why do I need to rush and open it just to get these packs?

Last year they limited you to opening two boxes at a time, then you have to get back in line.

Yes, my guess is they will do that again this year.

On Wednesday of last year they did not limit how much you could do at once. I think I remember one of the first guys in line opening multiple cases. I'm hoping they do that again this year before limiting it on Thursday.

Also, in the past you had to open every pack to make sure you weren't getting back in line with the same packs. I'm hoping that now that they switched it to redemption packs per box that you just need to crack the seal on the box like Panini does it so that each person doesn't take as long and that you can actually go open the packs elsewhere.

Same here. Will open Ginter for the packs next week. But the Ginter price could still move up some. I do not see SC moving up in price based on breaks. Could actually move down in time for the National.

I'm planning on bringing my case with me to the National so I'm sheltered on the price movement, good or bad. Excited to be able to do this as I had a lengthy and tough time trying to complete the giveaway set last year. Still think I need a few more actually.

I have a case too that I am bringing. I don't think 24 packs will make a set but will be close. I am planning to purchase a case of something to get the packs necessary for the set.

I will be doing UFC Knockout. Chance at McGregor plus not a whole lot of cards. That is key when you are flying!

Not going to be there until Saturday afternoon. Is it worth it to bring my Ginter boxes and bust there or will all of the redemption packs be gone by then?

That is going to be hard to tell until Friday of the show. I would think that Topps is going to try to make the packs last until Sunday but who knows. I know they ran out on Saturday afternoon last year.

A case of A&G would get you 24 packs at one shot. Last year there was no limit and you had people opening cases and holding up the line.

Looks like there is a limit of 16 boxes per redemption transaction. I feel that is pretty generous based on last years limit of 35 packs (for 7 redemption packs). But boxes are also more expensive than packs.

That is awesome. Now the big question becomes will they just rip the top off the box or make you open every pack. 16 boxes of Ginter or basic Topps will take a long long time to open.

This high limit thinks they made more packs than last year.
2017 - max 48 packs per transaction
2016 - max (not including Wed) 7 packs per

My other thought, is Topps going to throw a big curve ball and have Mega box refractors in this as well. That product is somewhere.

Has anyone seen a checklist for the redemption set yet?
