One player you collect that isn't the most popular?

Do you have any players that you tend to collect and look out for even though they're not selling hot or very popular anymore?

Personally, I love to collect Hakeem Nicks (Giants uniform only) and not football related but John Starks.

My three "big" PC guys are Eric Decker (NFL), Bobby Jackson (NBA), and Glen Perkins (MLB). Definitely not the biggest names out there. The only one I have competition for is Decker, and honestly, I don't stand a chance on most of the large 1/1 type items

Aj McCarron. Started out as investment pick ups but I've become a fan. His low end stuff is dirt cheap but his high end stuff is getting pretty expensive. Hope he lands somewhere decent and becomes a starter.

Snagged this for cheap! The /25 version just sold for $171!

Agreed. Glad I stocked up on his NT and Contenders rookies when I did, I think those will get very scarce, very soon.

That's why I collect Brees Chrome and Spectra rainbows. Keeps me active in current hobby releases. Otherwise, I'd be dead in the water.

Marcus Trufant... Born in WA, played for WA state, then played 10 years for the Seahawks. It's a shame that most of the newer Hawks fans never got to watch him when he was a beast all they remember was his 2012 campaign where they made him play Nickel for the 1st time in his career after 2 leg surgeries getting torched by shifty slot receivers.
