Default Norman, Oklahoma

Flying there tomorrow for a 5 day training course at NCED. Is there anything worth doing with my evenings in the area? Also will be looking for cheap dinners so I can stay way below my per diem.

Thanks!

Was there a few days ago over night. Went to the Riverwind casino to play blackjack. I didn't win but my wife did

Take a drive into Oklahoma City downtown and check out the Murrah Memorial and riverwalk. If you have time, the Cowboy Hall of Fame is worth a look.

My friend is the curator of The Museum Of The Red River nearby....if you want to get your antiquities on.

I lived there about 7 years ago. There's really not much there for non college adults. A few bars and the casino is it. Also, There's a card shop called the Dugout, don't waste your time or your money there. For food, there's a place called free birds that kind of like chipotle, pizza shuttle is pretty cheap, and raising canes is worth a meal.

You can drive down to Paul's Valley and go to the Toy and Action Figure Museum

River walk...definitely....won't cost you and arm and leg either...in Moore(right next to Norman), they have a kickass movie theater as well. Don't to Riverwind casino.
