Who do you have for this year, to me it's just not a clear-cut winner

Vic Beasley - 39 tackles, 15.5 sacks, 6 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD

Von Miller - 78 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 3 FF

Landon Collins - 125 tackles, 5 INT, 13 PD, 4 sack, 1 TD

Casey Hayward - 57 tackles, 7 INT, 20 PD, 1 TD

Marcus Peters - 45 tackles, 6 INT, 20 PD, 1 FF, 3 FR

Khalil Mack - 73 tackles, 11 sacks, 5 FF, 3 FR, 1 INT, 1 TD

Bobby Wagner - 167 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 1 INT, 3 PD

I think all those #'s say a lot...when a DB is making 125 tackles, I have an issue with that. Where's his damn D-Line and LBs? Aren't they doing anything? Or does he have 125 tackles because QBs threw on him 250 times? When Von Miller has all those tackles, that's pretty good considering the Defense he's on.

Honestly, the DPOY should probably go to Beasley or Mack though.

This is so dumb, I was waiting for a haha just kidding Collins definitely deserves DPOY.

You apparently are clueless to the fact that he was everywhere and did everything. They used him as a Blitzer sometimes, he was routinely disruptive in the run game which is where most of his tackles came from but he was also great in pass coverage.

I'm not a Giants fan or ab Alabama fan at all, the guy earned DPOY and anybody who watched him frequently would know that.

Von Miller had 13 tackles for loss as a defensive end

Landon Collins had 9 tackles for loss as a safety

what do those numbers say to you?

As much as I love Khalil Mack, ultimately I picked Landon Collins. I think he's played exceptionally well.

so I voted Wagner even though his ancillary numbers after tackles aren't great.

Mack had a quietly decent season. I would honestly go with Landon Collins (even though I voted Wags). He was the most consistent player/backbone of a quietly good defensive unit.

homer pick was landon collins.........but realistically he's all over the field. he gets sacks and int's. disruptive in the backfield to both qb, and rb which is why he get so many tackles.

I would say from what I've watched Collins deserves it for sure. I live in NY and watch most of the Giants games not a fan by the way of the Giants either and let me tell you Collins is all over the place. He's by far the most disruptive player on that team and always finds his way to the ball even when he's a good ten to fifteen yards away from the play. His stats support it and he should win it, but I think they will give it to Beasley.
