Default Respect for the King: A week of milestones

This week not only did Lebron move into the top 10 all time scoring list, but he's also the only player in the top 10 scoring list who's also in the top 20 all time assist list (he's 18th all time in assists). No other player in the top 10 scoring list is even close to being in the top 20 assists list. And oh yeah, he became the youngest player to reach 27,000 points last night surpassing Kobe. Respect for the King.

This is an amazing feat. I myself, and I am sure others as well hold LeBron to such high standards that his accomplishments are sometimes not getting the recognition they deserve. LeBron fans howling GOAT since 2003 are actually making it worse.

He's a bigger more durable version of Oscar. 30,000-10,000-10,000 would leave him in an all around plateau by himself for generations

Yea the crazy thing is if you tallied up the number of points he contributed to his teams through points and assists combined like they do in hockey he'll be far and away number one all time by miles by the time he's done

I would imagine Kareem or Wilt would be close. When you are a big guy and it goes in to you, especially in the old days with no 3 pointer, everyone would just collapse and double so if they pass out you have direct assists and also, the 2nd pass where the d rotates would create many opportunities for open shots. I doubt there would be any way to tally that. But it's the same type of thing, Lebron always has the ball in his hands so he definitely has a say in how the team goes.

LBJ definitely deserves his props ! I remember watching Game 7 NBA Finals with the Cavs being down 7 at halftime. I don't understand why people disliked him, but I was very happy for him AND Cleveland that they took home the Championship !!!

Also forgot to Congratulate all the fortunate collectors who happen to own a 2003 Exquisite RPA /99 of Lebron James.

I was out of the hobby at the time being more interested in the booming dot com stock market !

Lebron passed the legendary Moses Malone last night to move into 8th all time scoring and is currently trailing Tim hardaway for 15th all time assists. What's amazing on the assists list is when you look at the list closely its literally just a list of point guards and Lebron. Next on his scoring list is the Diesel, my favourite player during the 90's and early-mid 2000's
