Default Derrick rose 2016-17 Outlook

Anybody have high hopes for him this year? Big market, coupled with a good second half last year...could we see a slight resurgence in his prices?

As always, it depends entirely on his ability to stay healthy. Knicks fans are gonna hype up everything he does as long as he's not hurt.

MVP numbers from him this year!!!

seriously though, I hope he can help the Knicks team get into the playoffs this year. He is still young enough where he can contribute enough to make our team better. His injures will put a dampen on his overall game/skill, but he still has the talent to overcome that. Obviously, the number one thing is health. If he stays healthy all year then I like our chances of making the playoffs.

I've been a huge fan since his Simeon days. And he looked good in the second half last year.. And barring injury I don't see why he can't continue on that. My one wish for 16-17 is for the Knicks to play in Bulls in the first round and Drose dropping 40+ in the clinching win at the United center. That would prob be the best moment for me in basketball since the hometown Bulls pulled a horseshoe out of their ass to win the rights to select him with the #1 pick in 08

I have high hopes for D-Rose this year and hope that the injuries are behind him. He's had a tough four years, but, when it comes down to it, talent is talent. The Knicks offense is going to play to his strengths and, if his knees hold up, he's going to be a killer this year.

I feel so bad for D. Rose. He is so talented, but so unluckily fragile.

I think the Knicks will make the playoffs for sure. I could see his playing 65-70 games and averaging somewhere in the 17ppg/6apg ballpark.

He will be an average PG. He will get his number 15/6. But his inefficiency will kill the team's success.

Don't underestimate NY. Additionally, the last I checked he was accused. I will let the law take ita course. What he decides to do sexually with a person or people is his business. I am sure other NBA players have sex lives I dont agree with.

Not defending rose in any way shape or form. My fandom for him has greatly faded. That said, to be clear rose is not involved in a criminal trial. It is a civil suit, and he is not facing charges. While not IMPOSSIBLE that he could face charges due to CA law, it is highly unlikely this will go beyond a settlement and perhaps some embarrassing details about his private life.

He will continue to be a below average PG. His game was built on his athleticism and injuries have taken that away. He has never had the drive to refine the other areas of his game such as shooting.
