Really surprised to hear that the Ravens are courting him ahead of teams like the Chiefs and Falcons. While he has the mobility of a statue there is no denying his heart and leadership ability. I heard he is very smart too so he probably wouldn't have alot of trouble learning a new system quickly. I think a fresh start in KC would do wonders for his career. If he ends up in Baltimore say goodbye to Boller next year I'd imagine.

The Chiefs would rather keep Huard than try and get Byron. I think the Royals are starting to rub off on them.

I'm in the minority here thinking that Boller could be a decent QB for the Ravens, but it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that he's skipping town after the year.
Remember back to the 2003 draft (also my wedding date) there was no secret that Ozzie Newsome loved Leftwich and tried to trade up with Minnesota to get him. Wouldn't be shocked to see it happen. I think it would be a good move, don't know how much McNair has left in the tank. |
