A while back I'd have said the TBT #250 rookie (1954 design). That card was pretty inexpensive until very recently for only having a print run of 842. Also, its just gorgeous.

You know those leaf encased graded bccg 10 cards. The card number 1 of the press conference blue numbered to 50 has always had a higher price tag than the pink number 3 card numbered to 10. I only have the pink listed as I actually like the blue card.

Thats like the opposite type of example! I basically know nothing about Leaf.

I concur with this....he had to do it this year, and he did.

I think he grabs 25 next year.

Just because you know nothing about leaf does not discount the example.

Thats not what I meant! My premise was what cards seemed priced too low for their print run (ie. low price for a low print run). You gave an example of a card that sells for more than expected based on its print run compared to a lower print run.

If anyone had any doubts on a 2018 Ohtani auto, Topps posted a picture of him during his signing.
Also check out the stack. how many y'all think he signed?

The opposite I was pointing out the pink numbered 10 should be getting more than it does that’s why I pointed out the blue oversells it.

He single-handedly beat Curry/Lebron/Durant.

Maybe Topps will add more parallels or make a mystery pack like the olympics one.

You're far more organized than me. Here's a random page of my raw Ohtani topload binder.

I love that this five figure post was the middle of a pair of low-end binder posts.

There's Ohtani's out there for everyone at all price points!

Its kinda funny. Ohtani is the only reason going to local shows is worthwhile to me anymore.

I scan the showcases for the (mostly vintage) wish list I have and typically don't find anything and then I get to spend a few hours scouring value boxes to fill my Ohtani binder.

118 in there so far. Once this one fills I'll be buying another and looking to fill that one also.

Probstein special where 4 oranges and 4 golds were auctioned within 5 min ending of each other. This was after the Sho mania had passed and people were distracted by acuna/soto. Oranges ended ~$200, golds ended ~$100. The fifth and sixth copies costed me.
