Honestly though, these are probably the two most physically gifted QBs in the NFL right now. They haven't yet faced off head to head (they played in 2019 when Mahomes was out a few games). And while it's just a regular season game, I'm sure it'll stir up a lot of banter here, and will likely shape the MVP race until a week later when people are distracted by the next shiny performance.

It will be a great game, for sure. Hopefully, both QB's stay healthy and both teams are 8-0 - though KC has a BRUTAL schedule to start the year. The MVP race could definitely hinge on that game and there will no doubt lots of $h!t talking. I can't believe that's not a Sunday Night game though - someone messed that up. Cheers, Mahomies! Browns game will be decided based on what the Cleveland front 7 can do with the Chiefs Oline. The Garrett/Clowney pass rush should be tough, but if the Chiefs are able to run on the suspect Cleveland interior line, it could be a long day for that defense.

Chiefs have the Ravens number it seems, and the Ravens seem to have had a pretty disjointed training camp. Still, a quality team on the road.

Chargers are a team that usually plays up to the Chiefs. If Herbert takes another step forward this could be quite a challenge

Eagles

Washington

Philly is a team the Chiefs should beat. Buffalo is talented and has something to prove. Washington should match up pretty well with that defensive line that could give Mahomes trouble.
