Isn't this expected though? We all kind of knew the Westbrook was going to shoot a ton with Durant leaving. Shooting almost 46% of your teams shoots is a little ridiculous though.

I never get why people have a big cry after some negativity.

Westbrook is supposed to make his teammates better, he doesn't do that.

A lot of people actually don't want to see someone just go iso all game.

I'll take Kawhi over Westbrook any damned day and his stat line.

Oh and PHO and PHI will be the worst teams in the League. If you need those stats to beat them, you're probably not gonna make the playoffs.

And most people would have OKC making the playoffs before the season started. Hell, Mike wilbon on PTI has OKC in the conf finals. And that guy has an MVP vote. Scary.

Well, I'm a realist and this team is what it is...possibly a 6th-8th seed im my opinion. I don't think this team is going to compete for a championship. And he needs those stats, because that team isn't that great offensively.

He's taken it to Philly and Pho so far, instead of getting his bigs involved. Kanter is a 20 pt guy, Adams will get you 10, Dipo should be near 20, Westbrook 30 and the rest should get you 20, so enough with the bs, "who else will score". That's a flat out excuse.

Look, great stats, we all have seen him do that before, but he was up against weak guards. I'll be more impressed if they can beat some decent teams.

I do want to say one thing in regards to you saying he's not getting the bigs involved. Now it's only been a 2 game sample so far. Game 1, Adams and Kanter combine for 33 points. That's about what you want from them you said right? Olidipo 20? Well he went 4-16 that night, he's not that great of a shooter too, just like Westbrook struggles with his shot. What else is Russ supposed to do then? When Dipo is struggling with his shots? Tonight Kanter only played 12 minutes. Adams, your 10 pt guy had 9 and 10, and Dipo shot better and got 21. Russ doesn't control Kanter's minutes? So one game, he gets exactly what you want (except for Dipo who struggled with his shot) and another he exactly what you want (except for Kanter, who's minutes were limited) but still, not good enough? Obviously not every game will go to this script, but I don't see the problem so far? The rest of team he plays with? Kyle Singler? Andre Roberson? A couple of rookies in Sabonis and Christon? He's still the main guy that has to pick up the scoring slack

Its funny how you say we have seen this before but the last time someone had a triple double with 50+ points was in 1975 and its only happened 3 times EVER.

So unless you were watching Kareem in 1975 doing this then you are a liar.

what? Kanter career avg is 10ppg....cuz he plays 20 mins a game...which he is still doing...but "kanter is a 20pt guy"......Oladipo career average is 15ppg...but he should also be a 20pt guy?? Adams hasnt even averaged 10ppg in a season yet...but yea he prob can get that done...

you cant just say thats what they should be when they have never been that before. you say thats an excuse saying who else will score...well you are expecting unrealistic results from guys who have never shown that ability before...

If Kanter was starting and playing 33mpg then i am sure he would be able to avg like 16/10 or so...but they dont want him/adams playing together that much...so he is just stuck where he is...playing 20mins and some times having a nice game in 20min...and others he wont fit the pace of game and just will disappear...
