First post of joining the site and I was dying to ask opinions on this. I found the 2017 SSP for Series 1 in a clearance pack at Big Lots. Which is well amazing, but the top left corner was dinged really bad. So obviously it's nowhere near a mint card at this point.

I'm just getting back into collecting and it took me forever to even find examples of that particular card.

As it's a newer card I'm assuming that's an even bigger deal than on an older card that it has a dinged corner. I saw a PSA 10 go for 1,000 and an auction this week for 425 for an ungraded card. Would you just sit on it for now? It's been driving me nuts how close I came on that one.

Obviously I'm not a Yankee's fan so not like I want it for my PC.

I have it in a much better case now. I just stare at that corner and cry to myself.

You still pulled a Judge SSP RC from a Big Lots pack. I wouldn’t be crying.

Congrats on the great pull and welcome to the boards! Hold for now and sell when he wins World Series MVP in a few months.

Thanks I've spent a ton of money the last 2-3 months on blaster boxes and my best pull was a jumbo clearance pack in Big Lots. My wife was actually annoyed that I bought 5 packs of it.

The one really good thing this card has going for it aside from being rare is that it's an amazing picture. Pretty sure I should just sit on it and hope he doesn't keep on getting hurt.

Hey everyone, hoping for some help pricing this SSP from 2017 Opening Day. Last raw one sold for $450, and a BGS 8.5 recently went for $80. There is currently one available on eBay at $500 OBO, just wondering if anyone has an idea for fair asking price. The BGS 8.5 is throwing me off

$200-$500. If I would have seen the BGS 8.5 for $80, I would have bought it and cracked it.

If you wanted to sell, I would post for $400 w best offer.

Any chance it's for trade?

His SP rookie in series 1 last went for 425 on Ebay ungraded. Graded 10 I think it was around 1K. So I would *think* this one would go slightly less. I know because I have one and mine has a dinged corner.
