Newest pick up. I know it doesn't get as much love as the downtown cards but these "On the Horizon" look really good in person!!

Its embarrassing, and it must be exhausting frequenting this thread as a rational Mav fan - these are mostly Luka card holder's not understanding how the NBA works? Sure, I could critique the Mav's roster, Jason Kidd's past and Cuban being bonko but with kral its just constant bit^hing and moaning with manic hyperbole. Apparently, people really enjoy that these days. One poster even had the audacity (warped) to call it 'balance'. Now that was something!

Championships don't grow on trees. They are hard to achieve, and some teams have STILL never won one. Some teams are enduring horrific playoff droughts and the Mavs are already a perennial playoff contender in Luka's 5th year. How long did it take for MJ to win a ring? Lebron? Giannis? We see a lot of flawless internet GM's around here that don't seem to understand it takes years to construct championship rosters.

LeBron and Jordan were both 27 when they won their first title. Giannis was 26 and was 18 when he debuted. Luka at 18 had already won an MVP and championship in the EuroLeague. He was 26 when he won his ring last season. Luka is 22!! Luka is a long hold and only the people who bought at “bubble” prices are concerned.

Luka is a great young player. But yeah, it's hard to win a championship.

Mavs are not perennial playoff contenders. They are perennial playoff participants at this point, which is better than nothing, but honestly that's just from having Luka on the team.

MJ had Pippen, Horace Grant, and Charles Oakley in year 4. I don't see anyone of that caliber on the 2021 Mavs. KP is the only one with that kind of potential (maybe) but he seems to sit more than he plays.

Luka is 22 and hopefully MVPs and Championships are in his future. I agree he's a great long term hold.

Keep in mind Dan Marino reached the Super Bowl in his 2nd year and never returned.

KP has no potential because he can’t stay healthy. The best ability is availability. He simply doesn’t have it..

There is no other team with high caliber offense, defense, rebounding, and bench scoring. The game against the Grizzlies was like Varsity vs JV.
