I agree. Ohtani's complete set retail RC refractor is by far his best hitting image in my opinion, but the RD is a close second.

Both are nearly identical images too. Ones looking left and one is looking right.

I have no idea if it was a good value, but all this HMT32 talk made me snag the black plate that just popped up. Figured black is the best color and there won't be any comps. This would actually be my first Sho plate ever.

I saw it and knew it would be gone before I could buy and it sure was. VERY good pickup IMO

I was tripping out because it was labeled"holiday box" and not update. Then I remembered that's what they used to call it with Target and there's no other chrome set that has that image.

Yeah, I don't usually do plates but the #150 Cyan (second best color) did 5K+ so I figured this was reasonable for that price range. Who knows. Definitely more of a novelty either way.

I love plates (especially black) and for that price it's a long term hold.

Did it have the same image as the HMT32?

The FF refractor was actually a good buy but I was too distracted to chase bid. The PR is the same as the gold /50 (though serial # always sellers for.. more) and should have probably been closer to 400.

We cannot determine whether something is worth the price without knowing the price (and the year). A good long term investment depends on the entry price.

There is a 2018 Topps Dynasty Auto Patch BGS 9.5, asking price: 36K. Am wondering how that card and grade would hold up to say a PSA 10 Topps Chrome Gold Auto, which can be had for around 28K.

Both of those cards are awful values at the price you're looking at. You should look at sold comps on 130point or Alt before even considering a purchase. If that exact card hasn't sold, look for other parallels that have sold to triangulate a price. If there are also no parallels, then take a similar set and compare equivalent parallel pricing and add/subtract a % you think is fair. Gotta do your own homework, man.
