Order now and have them by Thanksgiving!!

I had a black ops connecticut toro today. THey are made by Gurkha. Gurkha is rapidly becoming one of my favorite cigar makers, particularly with the Beauty and now this one.

I had a good amount of time to smoke today,.

Earlier today I enjoyed a Connecticut by Rocky Patel. It is from one of their cheaper lines but a nice smoke. I cannot see how it would not rate at least an 85.

Tonight I enjoyed a MonteCristo Classic Extra. It was pretty good. THe Patel from earlier was nicer but this thing burnt well. I am a little bummed since it smoked so long that I actually forgot about a card that ended on ebay while I Was outside enjoying it. I was on the newly built patio with a friend and family and we may or may not have had a fire going in the fire pit depending on if I needed a permit or not.

I had me a nice Romeo y julieta vintage last night. Was freezing but the bottle of glenfiddich 12 year kept me warm. I've wondered how the Patel Connecticut is. Funny when you smoke a cigar thats 5 times more expensive and you enjoy it less, drives me crazy when I do that.

The booze warms the core lol.

As for the Patel Connecticut. Very good stick. As a part of a bundle that I got it was just a few bucks. Most other Patels are definitely 3-5x that in price (as you know).

I'm contemplating cigar.com box of 25 5 Vegas Classic Churchills plus 12 premium cigars (3 Gurkha beast, 3 Ava Maria reconquista, 3 man o war armada, and 3 cohiba red dots) for 79.99 free shipping. I'm having a Romeo y julieta vintage now, so good.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger. It was a no brainer as those 12 extras are $20 a piece cigars. Glad I got a back up humidor, 37 long smokes incoming. Free shipping is a nice bonus.

Um. No need to alarm.

I have been looking to replace my small humidor with a bigger one for my nicer smokes (my montecristos and Gurkhas). I checked jrcigars tonight and the front screen had a montecristo glass top humidor for $20 with ANY order and free shipping. ANY ORDER.

I figured that if I was getting a new humidor I would need a hygrometer. I picked the same digital one that I have for my current humidors. Makes sense, right? And then a pop up thing appears with a deal.

Montecristo #2 torpedo five pack for $35.!!!! The limit is one per household I believe.

So for $75 I will be getting a hygrometer, a new humidor and a five packs of my favorite sticks.

Just stumbled on to this thread. Read the whole works this evening. Needless to say I now have a nice list going of some new smokes to try. Thanks for the suggestions!

I'm a cigar novice. I used to only enjoy a cigar on the golf course, but now I usually have one while mowing the lawn, and always throw a couple in the boat for fishing trips as well. This summer/fall I would relax to a patio fire pit and usually try a new cigar or grab one I already knew I enjoyed. Now that the weather has turned cold and snowy, I find I don't smoke nearly at all.

So far, I've enjoyed just about every Arturo Fuente I've smoked. Favorite being the Don Carlos. Also discovered La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero this summer. Very strong, but awesome . I've tried some cheaper Rocky Patel. I really liked the RP The Edge and The Edge Fumas. I usually have a Backwoods Honey Berry pack in my golf bag as well. Its a quick smoke, and I kinda like that for the course sometimes.

I have a Montecristo Partagas no. 10 waiting form me for my next smoke. Its supposed to be 40 degrees this weekend, so I may enjoy that one when I smoke some cheese and maybe make up a batch of goose jerky.

I have a beagle too. Is there a support group somewhere? Mine is almost 15 now, and she finally can be left off leash. She has bad hips and really can't get out of sight too quickly anymore. She has been a great dog with the kids, but its the last beagle I will ever own.

They came in today. The Ave Maria's come each individually in their own wooden box, very nice presentation.

Been busy the last few days. The wooden boxes are definitely a nice presentation piece.

I am enjoying a montecristo no 2 torpedo right now. I purchased a new car for Christmas and I don't want to smoke in it. Sad day and age but I want to keep the car smoke free for as long as possible.

I would want to keep it smoke free too, but you're gonna miss the drives home. What did you get?

The partagas no 10 are a pro stick at $40-60 a pop. Excellent taste albeit very expensive. Check out the Hoyo Excalibur. For about four bucks per, it is a great rival to some higher end connecticuts.

As for the beagle. Yup, this will be the last beagle that I own. I don't hunt so he isn't really ever in his true element (his sire was a apparently a masterful hunter). He is an ok pet but he is easily excitable.
