She has finally broken the fever and is getting her appetite back, maybe she will finally take my advice and give up the diet sodas. Thanks for asking I take for granted the fact that she picks my son up from work at night, I don’t mind doing it but I don’t really have the best night vision.

The parades continue to go downhill for the kids. They didn't even walk from the church to the ball field this year; so no fire trucks. All they did was walk from one field, around the complex, and onto another field.

At least they figured a way to stop ignorant Marylanders from being disrespectful during the National anthem with that "O" crap. They had a high school student play it on a saxophone.

Only 4 kids showed up from his team for the parade.

After the opening day ceremonies were over, we took my Son and our granddaughter to La Plata to go to Walmart. We picked up lunch for our middle SD and her crew since it is 911 Dispatchers Appreciation Week and got a tour of the dispatch center.

Tomorrow a bunch of us are meeting up in Anne Arundel County, MD to photograph fire trucks including going to BWI Airport to get their apparatus and Ft. Meade fire department.

Well, today went really good. Took 2:30 hours to get fields playable, all 51 teams got through picture day, and games ran smoothly on all 3 fields.

2 of my nieces decided they wanted to stay over tonight, so I've been entertaining a 5 year old and a 9 year old since I got off. Luckily they wanted something simple for dinner. We played some games, the older one did some aquadot stuff while the younger one colored. I turned on a movie and they both went to sleep.

I am exhausted, and this week is going to be a grind. Games every night, downtown bbq competition this coming weekend, I dont plan to get much sleep at all. Add in that the girl that I've been trying to spend time with sent me the "we need to go hang out, I miss you text". Now we're trying to find time to go do something. I told her she might have to settle for stopping by the rec complex and having a concession stand dinner for now.

I was going to go to the card store that is 45 minutes away today but they changed their hours. I am glad I checked. They used to be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Now, they are closed on Sundays. I know business has been great for them, which makes me happy.
