HMT32 RD parallels convincingly outselling the HMT1 counterpart lately. I know a lot of people consider HMT1/US1 repetitive with #150/700, but it's an interesting hierarchy shift. I wonder if it'll stick.

That PSA 10 HMT32 gold refractor that ended last night sure was shiny. Understandable how that would outsell a gold HMT1.

I’m a fan of the RD hitting image as well. I think the US285 Golds are a solid purchase at current prices, especially with how well the refractors of the same image are doing.

I’m also a big fan of Judge’s RD hitting image. I was able to afford a HMT50 refractor /250 of Judge, Ohtani…not so much.

It was definitely gaining steam but I believe US1 still held the edge. I think it's interesting that HMT32 outsells HMT1 but US285 parallels don't consistently outsell US1 - look at black/blue sales. Maybe there is something to those collecting chrome (tend to be newer collectors) that don't care about "tradition" and just want batting.

There was a time when all RDs were a step child worth a small fraction to proper rookie counterparts (besides Harper). I guess this is still the case for everyone except Sho.

I followed them very very closely and HMT32 was actually significantly ahead before the plummets.

It actually surprised me today to read that it had fallen behind again as I stopped monitoring in the last year.

Here's the HMT1 versus HMT32 Refractor PSA 10 sales for the time period you're referring to. I don't see any significant lead. I have always been talking about parallels, not base.

HMT1

HMT32

You said US1, not HMT1.

Either way if we are talking US1, I know my own sales, and HMT32 was significantly ahead of US1.

This was my point below, which you responded to. I interchangeably used HMT1 with US1 since they are the same image, but that came later.

Cut me some slack; I'm distracted by the Judge thread where someone said Ohtani's offensive career stats aren't even in the same league as Judge's.

All good. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I was right, so I ran over to fact check myself lol.

Anyone want to place a wager on if this card ships and passes AG? I give it a 2:7 odds of it being successful. My first rockie card
