HMT1 is an unnecessary card.
I'm on the Orange 150 train as well. It's Shohei's first TC card, and my guess is the image will end up being a lot more iconic than the HMT1 when all is said and done.

Color match is nice though, I understand why others would lean that way.

Can't go wrong with either but if I had to choose 1

Orange #150 is slightly ahead

Red is awesome but Hmt#1 is his second chrome and another pitching image, which is why I think hmt#32 does so well for a Rookie Debut card

Thanks, guys. Seems like red is slightly preferred but the pedigree (second) holds it back a tad. Pretty much what I thought but it's really interesting how our view changes over the years!

it still bothers me that Topps made Topps Chrome Orange Refractors retail only for a couple of years and put three in every rack pack

Both pitching, both similar pop count. One is the original image, but the other is a popular red color, despite not /5.

I tend to agree with the original flagship image, but people love red and he happens to be wearing a red home jersey. I'd feel different in an away jersey.

I think they're both going to be absolute monster cards (more than today) in 9 years so you can't go wrong.
