Last time I checked, married people don't make or do major decisions on their own; you're a couple. It's not my place to start throwing property that doesn't belong to me out the door unless my wife and I have both agreed to kick her out.

She's a landlord in Ohio who evicted my 80-something year old grandparents from a house they were renting around the start of 2021 because she wanted to take advantage of the housing crisis and triple the rent she was charging.

I also had drama last night.

I used a half day of PTO. At our beginning of shift meeting, one of my three leads said he was tired having only gotten 4 hours of sleep. So when I left, I emailed everyone that they could contact the other lead in my absence. Well, apparently that ticked off the other lead and he replied to everyone they could also contact him. I replied to that saying, yes, they could. Then in group texts between us all he says that a bunch of people are asking to leave early and says he wouldn’t mind leaving early too (it was snowing pretty bad). I asked him who those people were so I could plan on them possibly missing work today (plus I think only he wanted to leave and nobody else said anything). I told him if he wanted to go that it was fine because it is slow anyway and the other two leads could handle it.

Well, we left my car at work so on the way home from the restaurant my wife and I went to, I stopped to get it and went inside to see how things were going. The lead I pretty much left in charge said the other guy was all pissed off that I didn’t say people could contact him. He told me someone said that guy was throwing things when he read the email. Then that guy wouldn’t look or talk to me and said he didn’t want to leave now if it was optional (if we force them to leave they get paid). He apparently ticked off another employee in the building who texted their supervisor to complain about him.

This guy was almost fired earlier in the year for missing work, being late and other general stupidity. I didn’t know how close he was to being canned until the COO told me.

was at a local grocery store with a really small parking lot....there were several cars being nice and patient and waiting for others to pull out. i went around to the other side (one of those lots where there are two spots back to back) because i saw the handicap spot was open (NO I DID NOT PARK IN IT). as the car on the back side pulled out of the spot where the mass person was waiting, i pulled through the handicap spot right into the spot and they just sat there and watched

No drama with me but the cold weather seems to have brought the mouse problem back, second day in a row there was a dead mouse in my dogs water bowl in the kitchen. I would like to think my cats are killing them and discarding them there but they are not that smart. We have rat poison put out by all the places they most likely would come in at so I think it is doing its job.

What kind of poison are you using? I have some of those green blocks of poison in the garage.
